Shalimar - Menu

tried dal, chicken curry and nan brot. all were good and tasty. reis came free, but was not delicious. size is not big, but good enough.

Shalimar has great food and friendly service. It is located just around the corner from Hotel Admiral. A must do if you like Indian food.

The food was awesome but the atmosphere adds to it. Absolutely lovely tea was offered after the meal. Its a must go for any one visiting Munich. Could not believe we found such a great place to eat out in Munich.

Walked in here there was only one party of folk in the place got a table and chose my food and had a nice beer too the food was very nice and not expensive and the chap that took my order was a very nice...fellow I really enjoyed it here

It's a great Indian restaurant but the menu is almost entirely Pakistani which means the meat dishes are excellent. I have travelled across Germany and this is the best tasting Indian/Paksitani food I've had here. The Daal is a must try for vegans. Excellent!

We were staying around the corner and walked past several times and decided to give this restaurant a try. So glad we did. Friendly service, great food and not expensive. I had a thali plate which was delicious and you got to pick the meat...curry. Meals include rice in the price. No room for dessert as serves were very generous.

based on excellent reviews, I stopped here for lunch after a visit to the German museum. young, I was disappointed! eating was a farewell to say the least. I ordered fish curry. I have never received the salate, broth and Pakistani spices and sauces to accompany him. the curry was pretty bland. the service was terrible. I was asked to pay shortly after my service trip. that is not the use in Germany, but the ground became clear moments later, when the waiter locked the door (I eat outside) and the restaurant closed, about twenty minutes before the announced closing time. avoid this!

again and again we have not managed to find a really good Indian restaurant in Munich. we are very good knowers of this type of kitchen and unfortunately until now, apart from a few years in a restaurant that I do not want to mention, to be fair. No one meets our customer standards. this time must admit, the appetizers were very encouraging, but then the main course, huh tikka masala and lamm spirited were all, but tasteful. it lacks the kick, the texture, the amalgamated taste and the good smell. very courtier owners and prices in average, but that doesn't make him remember a restaurant. God.

My daughter and I had dinner on our first of three nights in Munich. Frankly, we were tired of German food and wanted something spicier. It was right around the corner from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. The food was...excellent. I had the lamb tikka masala with almonds and my daughter had the same, only with chicken.
