"I'm a frequent visitor to this café! They offer a great selection of classic dishes adapted for vegetarian and vegan diets, making the menu familiar and accessible for everyone. The daily assortment of cakes and cookies is consistently delicious as well. They've recently introduced wonderful vegetarian and vegan takeaway sandwiches, including a vegan New York Deli that my partner always encourages me to get, as well as a tofu egg mayo and cheese option. They also have pies available for takeaway. I feel so fortunate to have this place in Clitheroe!"

Stopped off here for lunch in Clitheroe, plenty of choice for everyone- I would especially recommend the vegan ham salad sandwich.

I enjoyed a simple yet delicious vegan breakfast at a reasonable price. The scrambled tofu was delightful, and I wish there had been more of it! I appreciated that they used Richmond sausages, as I really prefer them over Quorn. However, I found it a bit odd that they charge extra for plant-based milk at a vegetarian/vegan cafe.

The food and service could be better, second time of going and things could be improved. The food just needs a little extra attention. Ie, toasting the right bun for a burger. Better coleslaw, attention to detail. The first time I went they gave 2 friends only half portion of quiche without saying anything and afterwards gave them and us a biscuit to compensate!!!

Had a superb vegan afternoon tea here this afternoon, served by a lovely, friendly team. Soup, plenty of assorted sandwiches, crisps, scone with jam, trifle, strawberries and a selection of cakes. It’s the first vegan afternoon tea we’ve had where everything was delicious nothing felt like a compromise. A word of warning don’t eat anything during the day before you go, or you won’t manage to finish it all! Voir le carte

This restaurant boasts a fantastic location near Clitheroe market, complete with outdoor seating. The food is homemade, hearty, and features a range of delicious breakfast and brunch options, all offered at very reasonable prices (drinks included). The coffee portions are generous! You can also enjoy tasty homemade pies, sandwiches, and a variety of cakes. Everything is vegan by default, but dairy options are available upon request. It's truly a hidden gem! Updated from my previous review on April 16, 2023.

We stayed in Clitheroe August 2021 and visited here twice in 4 days. First we had the vegan breakfast which was phenomenal then we had lunch. I had the special which was baked potato skins with sheeze and facon. Hubby had the falafel sandwich. We had a portion of potato salad to share and then I had to try the lemon drizzle cake (you’ve gotta get your vegan desserts while you can right?? . Suffice to say it was all really tasty and I didn’t need to eat until very late on in the day! Defo need to visit if you’re out this way. We will be back!

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
