"Secret Garden Cafe is a vegetarian cafe, adjoining a health food shop, with a lovely walled garden for sitting out in the sunny weather. The menu has vegan options, a specials board and there was a good selection of vegan cupcakes on the counter. I called in for breakfast with hubby and we both chose the vegan pancakes served with banana and maple syrup. I took some yogurt and cinnamon with me, although drizzled with maple syrup, the pancakes did not need it. The pancakes were so light and fluffy, I was quite jealous as mine are always quite dense, so I will be stealing chef's secret of using frothed Oatly barista oat milk to make the batter. The pancakes were absolutely scrumptious, with warm maple syrup, banana and two large decaf Americano coffees, making a perfect to start the weekend. Called again for lunch and we ordered sandwiches off the Christmas menu, A Bit Of Christmas which was no pigs in blanket, stuffing sprouts on a toastie with a pot of vegan gravy and Christmas in New York pastrami cheese sandwich. They were scrumptious, good sized portions full of flavour and I will be trying to make these at home. We had a quick chat with chef Louis and thanked him for the sandwiches, he is also famous for the best ever vegan carrot cake. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Secret Garden Cafe and will definitely again when next in Clitheroe. Updated from previous review on 2020-09-12"

A great place in a good setting. Service was good, food was amazing. It was just simple and honest food that tasted amazing. And most of all, it was very good value for money. I brought some non-vegans with me, and everyone found things they liked.

We called into this wonderful cafe yesterday, we chose to sit outside in the sunshine to eat. The menu had good choice with something for everyone. I went for the light breakfast and my mum opted for a New York Deli wrap. The food came out to us in good time, tasted great, it was fresh, well presented and was value for money. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

we went to a nice sunny day and sat outside. they order on the switch inside, where there are also seats. we ordered the potato and mushroom cake with muddy heaps and cabbage and the new yorker Deli sandwich. the portions were more than generous. the caffe is located near the central market where they really sell good fruit and vegetables. updated by previous review on 2022-09-14 Voir le carte

Went in really hungry and found the goody fresh, filling and tasty. Simple meals such as sandwiches, jacket potatoes, nachos, got dogs and salad bowls, mainly vegan, some vegetarian. In a mixed party of vegan, vegetarian and omnivore, there was something to satisfy everyone. Decent service. Decor basic but clean, and plenty of outdoor seating in a tucked-away part of the town centre.

when we visited clitheroe, we called when we came to the place last time, as it was only closed and the menu looked good. had a large vegan and light vegan breakfast along with a cup of tea and decaff coffee, both drinks included in the breakfast. everything was absolutely super and after my big breakfast I felt set up for the day. the decaff americano was also fantastic, decaff coffee can be a little lottery, but the coffee was first class. if they are looking for vegan or vegetarian means of life in clitheroe, they do not see further. we will certainly be back and I recommend to them to try.

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
