The food was delicious! Large quantities at very reasonable price. We took half of it back to our hotel and had it for lunch the next day. Very friendly service.

Due to its location, it is quite popular. Unfortunately the food and service is only average. It has all the standard German fare at a relatively reasonable price

Dropped into here after visiting maaannnny years ago, had a really fantastic boiled schweinehaxe of sorts. Nice sauce, potato dumplings. A great place! And really nice service

Popped in for a refreshing beer after a 21km cycle! Enjoyed it so much stayed for more beers and lunch. Very meat based so watch out if your a vegetarian but would highly recommend.

We stopped there for lunch. We were not expecting any high culinary experience, just a plain, filling lunch and that's what we got. We all settled for pork snitzel with potato salad and were happy with our choice. Perhaps a bit too much mayonnaise in the salad. With some 10 euros per meal, it was a good value and the service was fast and efficient.

Stopped here for an evening meal. The place was quite busy so all the outside tables were taken. Inside is a relatively plain room but service is efficient and friendly -even sympathetic to our poor German. Food was basic but generally good value for money. Has a limited vegetarian selection (mainly salads). Fine for a quick stop but lacking in atmosphere.

Cuisine good. Service personnel awful, they ignored us from the beginning. After the first contact, they made remarks about our nationality. Is the service personnel prejudice against Poles? After that, our little child spilled the juice and lack of reaction from their side, we have to clean the floor and no offer for juice. I've never met this kind of situations in a restaurant.

As we walking into the restaurant, the lady at the desk first turned her head around and pretended she didn't see us.we were standing there for one minute waiting for her to turn around and show us a table. It didn't happen. I had to call out "excuse me" she then turn around and looked at me with no expression on her face. I asked can we have a table for two. She shredded her shoulder indicating anywhere and she made me feel like what is your problem. We felt that we were so much not welcomed, we had to walk out.Very arrogant. - go somewhere else to spend your money.

We were in Bad Schandeau looking for a place to have dinner and spotted this cosy looking restaurant. There is patio seating out front and seating inside the restaurant. We entered and waited for the server to acknowledge us and assign us a seat. She absolutely ignored us even though she saw that we were there. We finally called out to her and requested a table for two. She was very rude and in welcoming and said she would see what she could do. The restaurant was empty inside and she never appeared back. After waiting about 5 minutes we left. I got the impression that unless you spoke German you were not welcome.
