"The Hotel Restaurant “Saschas Kachelofen” is located in Kirchstrasse 3, not far from the market square. My wife and I have been a frequent guest there, not only this year, but always only guests in the restaurant. For this reason, the assessment refers only to the restaurant and not to the hotel. On the first evening, my wife and I got our food at different times, even though the restaurant was only visited sperily. First I got a salad, then the main dish, then my wife got her salad and later the main dish. The staff was so loud that all guests became witnesses. We were only int town for one night and we saw lots of people eating food outside and it looked delicious so we decided on dinner here. We were not disappointed great food, great beer and good value.

Had a great dinner there with fantastic chicken cordon bleu. Good breakfast. Clean hotel. Great location. Good parking. Nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Suffered through my poor German too and we nice about it.

Just about every restaurant In Oberstdorf has Schnitzel on the menu but for me the best was here. Though the traditional super thin version. This on was layered and had bits of crispy bacon and mustard inside. Well tasty.

We had to get another place at a nice couple at the table. The next time, make a reservation. It's really worth it. The food is superlecker and very rich. The service is friendly and always seems nice, even if every table is full. Voir le carte

Quickly found us a table on a busy evening. Service was friendly and just the right speed. Didn’t feel rushed but didn’t feel we were waiting either. Staff were very happy to split adult meals for our kids. One Schnitzel Portion was plenty for two...boys. Will be retuning.

Having enjoyed eating at this restaurant twice last February we decided to try it again on our annual winter visit to Oberstdorf in Once again food was delicious and our waiter kind and helpful. Booked a table for dinner and pleased we had every other table was taken when we arrived at ten past eight. Clearly popular with locals and visitors. We were given a big corner table plenty of room for the children to play cards...while ordering. Good selection on the menu including options for the boys. And friendly services prompt, but never hurrying us.

We arrived minutes early understanding the busy dinner rush during the vierschanzentournee (ski jumping qualifications). It was a little hectic, but we ended up sharing a table with other guests (Yes-we had a reservation). We ordered drinks, a salad, and two entrees.
