Lovely friendly staff. Great food. Had the vegan tali. Staff from kitchen sitting having their meal. Good sign.

would not recommend ordering dosa because it was cold and not crispy at all. taste, quality and quantity were really good.

Amazing strictly vegan/vegetarian Indian food in Mitte (no meat of any kind! . They also have tons of gluten free options. Service is good and they’re very fast. Possibly the best Indian food to get in Berlin.

If there is possibly to give negative points then I ll give -10 (Minus Ten) for very very bad service from weiter. After whole family finished, they didn’t gives food for children.. when I asked stupid waiters (Rahul) just ignored..shame on you..

The food is really good and authentic, the dosa is very tasty and crispy and the sambar and the chutneys that come with it have a great flavor. However, the idli had a sourish taste that I didn't like that much. The waiters are very friendly and the food is served quickly. Voir le carte

We ordered many dishes. The taste was top notch. The texture and the smell remind authenticity! Quick and warm food to the table. Sraff service was okay but room for more improvement. Missing dishes and misheard order numbers are confusing. The website didn't not load and reaching the restaurant via phone is difficult. Updated from previous review on 2021-11-07

It's a chain, and I have already been to their Paris restaurant. But now I also made it to their Berlin location! Most important point: Saravana Bhavan is South Indian, as opposed to the majority of Indian restaurants in Germany which are North Indian. The type of food is different, but I like it a lot! It has a lot of flavour and some spice. Can definitely recommend their dosas! Items that were vegan or could be made vegan (V vs VO were marked in the menu. (By the way, they claim to be the best Indian vegetarian chain of restaurants and maybe they are.

Nice and fast service. Good food. Dosa is quite uncommon in Indian restaurants here, and they have a great selection of Dosa varieties. The Dosa was really good and authentic. The Mango Lassi is much closer to one you would get in India as it is less milky and has a rich Mango flavour instead. The coffee was nice too. The toilets were in mediocre condition though. There was quite some fluid on the ground and the mirrors looked quite old. As the place is quite crowded, the noise level is on the upper end. Conversations are still possible, but you need to talk louder. Overall a really nice place to eat. Voir le carte
