"I fell in love with this restaurant (and the staff! on my first visit, and wasn't disappointed on my recent return. The restaurant is warm and inviting, with a great bar/terrace at the front. Love the prints and other touches on the walls that nod to the chefs' Scottish origins. The food is prepared to a very high standard, with occasional Scottish classics, often with an unexpected twist, on the menu. An unusual sounding curry ravioli starter was fantastic, and my monkfish suquet was the tastiest I've ever had anywhere . My son loved his lamb dish. A friend's steak tartare was also delicious. We were too full for dessert but I'm determined to leave room for the cranachan the next time I go. Portions are generous and prices extremely reasonable, and the wine list has something for all tastes, without the high mark up charged by many places these days. Outstanding service from an attentive waiter makes this relatively new restaurant now a firm favourite."
