Sankt Wendelin - Menu

With 40 people for our annual meeting. Three menus to choose from with soup and dessert. kitchen excellent zb. With a super studded strength broth with awning and egg engraving. Service friendly and fast. Restaurant is highly recommended.

I believe in the fact that at 20 minutes before 12:00 the predominant number of tables was occupied says everything. Without registration we only got a table for two people because we are known at the restaurant. We have been going to this restaurant for 30 years.

The restaurant looks a bit old for today's time. The food is still the best in Meschede. The waiting times are partly quite long. In beautiful weather you can also sit in the beer garden wonderfully. The friendly service and the reasonable price-performance ratio allow us to return there again and again.

It's just great there: service and food. We always like to go there. It is super cozy and very friendly service. I have accidentally identified an uncomprehensible bad evaluation as helpful and this can no longer be reversed. : This restaurant has absolutely not deserved a bad review!!! Anyone who speaks about “bag sauce” has no idea about cooking. They don't exist here. I can only recommend the restaurant at any time.

We were four at lunch and had the whole place for us alone. The device is quite nice but also rustic. I chose the menu with wild. The soup was slightly salted and at the wild dish I was tastefully not satisfied with the sauce and the used can-champignons. My companions had chosen asparagus with steak in different variations, which would have been the better choice afterwards. Dessert and espresso were very good. I can't lose a bad word about the service.

The restaurant “Sankt Wendelin” is already a place with a special touch. While you are a guest in a cozy atmosphere, in the stalk of a peasant pot, you will get beautiful and take a place for a drink that prepares selected dishes freshly in the kitchen. This time everyone enjoys relaxing with excitement on enjoyment. The dishes are tasteful and excellent for the eye. Repeating visits were always a beautiful time from everyday life with kindness and pleasure.

Wir waren zu viert beim Mittagessen und hatten das gesamte Lokal für uns alleine.Die einrichtung ist durchaus nett aber auch rustikal. Ich hatte das Menu mit Wild gewählt. Dabei war die Suppe leicht versalzen und beim Wildgericht war ich geschmacklich nicht mit der Sauce und den verwendeten Dosen-Champignons zufrieden. Meine Begleiter hatten jeweils Spargel mit Steak in verschiedenen Variationen gewählt, was im Nachhinein die bessere Wahl gewesen wäre. Nachtisch und Espresso waren sehr gut. Über den Service kann ich kein schlechtes Wort verlieren.

His appetizer salad, as well as my salad main course, was green pampered on the plate: with dressing from the tube. My Greek salad with chicken was undefined. Chicken was on it, on a tired salad leaf warm zucchini in green and yellow, as well as warm, soft tomatoes. If I had remnants or ratatouille, I would have ordered it. The positive reviews are a secret for me after the experience. Too bad. We like to eat well, but not there anymore.

The good way forward: the service was friendly, the portions large and the fried onions on the steak tasty. That's it. Corona condition was only the beer garden open and loosely occupied. Most tables ate when we arrived. Nevertheless, we waited one and a half hours for our food (and were envyed by the neighboring table: they had waited an hour longer! . What came then was simply bad: the “english” ordered steak was only with good will still “medium”, the sticky sauce from the bag, the roast potatoes oily and the vegetable gratin boiled with poulard breast with a narrow cream sauce and by the way we had not ordered it at all. We then ate it in part because we were hungry from the waiting room...
