Sandy's Pizza - Carte

We had some lovely cocktails here, Sandys opened on Valentines day and shut because of COVID. It survived but was the restricted to having live music.A visit is a must. Friendly staff.

Returned to Sandy's for a second visit, having previously eaten there a couple of years ago in the summer. Revisited to find that the atmosphere is not diminished in the winter. Very much enjoyed the pizza special but found the bolognese quite bland and rather a small portion for the price. Service was friendly and the menu is really rather inexpensive for its location.

Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after leaving the Carpenters pub nearby and searching for a good spot for dinner. The atmosphere is very relaxed, prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic. The pizzas are excellent and the desserts, especially the cheesecake and tart tartin, are outstanding. In a neighborhood where high prices often don't guarantee good quality, this restaurant is a hidden gem. Voir le carte

Love love love his place! I am really very picky, and it’s been a long time that I’ve found a restaurant that makes me completely fulfilled at the end. Been a few times lately, consistently good food and all around great atmosphere. The service is always friendly and professional. Desserts were also excellent, particularly the chocolate fondant and fabulous vanilla ice cream. Highly recommended We will definitely come again

After accidentally discovering this restaurant with 8 hungry children and 6 tired adults, we had a fantastic dinner here. Despite the potential for chaos, it turned out to be one of our favorite meals in London! The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially with our children's simple "only cheese" orders. The adults enjoyed delicious dishes including amazing pumpkin soup, gnocchi, bread, pizzas, and house-cured olives. I highly recommend this restaurant!

A business colleague arranged for us to meet there, a bit off the beaten track for me, but he arranged it. Pleased he did, I had an aubergine pizza with extra sausage and green chilli, it was delicious. My colleague had the pepperoni, and he made quick work of it. The bill was very reasonable, what you would pay at a chain but you will eat a much nicer pizza. We found this place on Sat 15th June. We were initially heading for a bigger Italian nearby but had a look around and saw Sandy’s. It looked inviting and independently owned so we had to try it and we weren’t disappointed. Very friendly service, lovely food and a great wine list. I can’t understand why anyone would complain about the price and even worse mark them down for it. You’re in central London and the prices are very reasonable for the location and type of restaurant.

The overall dining experience at Sandys was exceptional. Located just behind Middle East on Edgewater Rd, this restaurant offered a combination of friendly staff, cozy decor, and a well-curated menu that kept us coming back during our stay in London. From the delicious grilled goats cheese starter to the indulgent chocolate dessert, every dish was well-presented, fresh, and full of flavor. The prices were reasonable for London, however, it's important to note that a 12.5% service charge is included in the bill. So, while tipping is tempting, it's best not to go overboard.

I have eaten here many many times. The common thread is that some dishes are outstanding eg the burratta. Some are pretty Good — the pizzas but largely because of the dough— though pizza size seems to me to change depending on the time of year...; Some dishes are are just v v v ..meh. I disagree with the glowing reviews generally. See my other reviews.. I am in top 1% of London reviewers on Tripadvisor they keep telling me whatever thta cr&p means..but it does mean I know London. The STAFF here though are uniformally abyssmal. Not rude. Not aggressive. Just perpetually preoccupied and low quality. Chatting amongst themselves when folks are waiting and lazy. They take orders wrongly — almost... Voir le carte
