"Absolute filth, the place need a deep deep clean. I've worked in hospitality for years and my husband is a chef, it always baffles me when the tables and chairs are dirty. What the kitchen must be like if the staff can't clean a chair. Food wasn't great. Spent £30 and I think I could have got better at a bacon buttie van in a lay-by. And 1 toilet for men and women, how is this ok?? I don't want take my daughter to toilet after a man has had his stinking in there. Cakes looked amazing if this helps, although we didn't buy one and won't return"

This café is charming, serving delicious food with amazing views. Don't miss out on trying the crab sandwiches and cakes. The only downside is the long line of people waiting to be seated.

Breakfast was awful, snotty egg, warm beans, bacon can’t describe and sausage that neither our dog nor the dog on the next table would eat, so we ate the toast and enjoyed the only positive the view over the beach

We love a crab sandwich and these are definitely the best we have had. Even better than the ones we had in Staithes last week. Fresh bread, loads of crab and a lovely side salad and crisps. A great little cafe. We had an early lunch as we know how busy it gets. Will certainly return..
