"This is a superb restaurant, well worth the pleasant half-an-hour walk outside of the main city centre to its much more residential surroundings. We were a party of 6, and the restaurant owner made a real effort to make us all feel welcome. The menu was in Italian, but the owner was happy to discuss the various dishes with us. All of us were spoilt for choice, and well impressed with the options. Our vegetarian friend was well looked after with a number of substitutes happily made by the chef to accommodate her, as well as there being some great veggie options on the menu also. The food itself was fantastic and everyone was very happy with their selections. My favorite dish was the Gnocchi with caramelized onions and pork cheek. Absolutely fantastic! The wine menu was extensive and ranged well in price and offering. The owner took great care in decanting and serving our selections. The service was faultless, even offering us a complimentary glass of desert wine. We were made to feel truly at home. This was emphasized by the rustic Italian dining room feel to the restaurant. Overall; a lovely relaxed experience, with excellent food, wine and service!"

Siamo stati accolti con cortesia, professionalità e passione verso gli ingredienti serviti nel loro menu..Ogni piatto raccontato come se lo stessimo già gustando e le aspettative non hanno deluso le nostre scelte del menu. Apparecchiato con cura e serviti senza lunghe attese ma lasciandoci chiacchierare serenamente tra una portata e l’altra. Ingredienti freschi e preparati con cura nella loro semplicità dei piatti serviti da un vino consigliato siciliano che si addiceva ai nostri piatti.Ci tornerò sicuramente a volte si possono trovano dei veri tesori sotto casa!

Recommend by young Italian girls whilst having a glass of wine on the street sitting in the sun, the girls recommend this restaurant as they loved it and as it was two minutes from our hotel. What a recommendation this is a gem. Menu is in Italian we got the most of it but the owner helped us out. We were not really starving and wanted to share our dishes between the two of us. The owner split the dishes in half for us so we ordered three dishes. The dishes were absolutely gorgeous. Food is first class and very tasty. Thinking of going back tomorrow as it was that good. Thanks girls for the recommendation, we will be recommending to people we meet. Very reasonably priced and the wine is good...
