"I have visited this restaurant a couple of times but have never tried the food before. However, on a quiet Saturday lunchtime, my wife and I decided to give it a try. I ordered a ham, egg, and chips dish, which I thought would be a safe choice. Unfortunately, one of the eggs had a runny yolk while the other was solid, and the thinly sliced ham seemed to be grilled in a strange way. The chips were the highlight of the meal. My wife ordered a chicken flatbread with sweet potato fries, but the waitress informed us that there was no avocado for the wrap and offered to fill it with something else. Despite this warning, we decided to proceed. The flatbread arrived without the fries and was disappointing - the chicken was dry and there was only a small amount of bacon. After realizing the mistake, we asked about the fries and eventually decided to cancel our order and return the flatbread. The staff graciously offered to remove the items from our bill. Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to the lack of training for the staff and direction from management."

I stopped by for a cup of tea and had a toasted tea cake that was very dry. I would not order it again. The service was slow and there was no atmosphere in the restaurant.

Terribly slow service in the restaurant. Waited for 50 minutes after being advised our choice of order not available 20 minutes after the order. Sat and watched people around us get served first. Would never visit again

Had a wonderful brunch here on Saturday with my daughter. I had the healthy brunch with avocado, toast, mushrooms, hummus and my daughter had salt and pepper squid. Food tasty, service excellent and quick, prices reasonable. Lovely decor. We took cake away from the fantastic Knead bakery and that was gorgeous too. We did visit before and had a bad experience which they kindly appreciated, apologised and gave us a voucher. They have more than improved. This cafe is now one of our firm favourites . Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

I visited over the weekend, I had a slice of white chocolate and raspberry cake and a latte my wife had coffee and a flapjack, the coffee was pleasant, atmosphere was warming and lovely the staff where very attentive and helpful so thank you to all staff. I was disappointed with the baked goods. The white chocolate and raspberry cake was flavorless and the butter icing grainy like eating sand I am not sure how you make a flavorless cake but whoever made this has achieved just that. The flapjack looked like saw dust and the taste was horrendous not good. It's a shame because to look at it's visually pleasing. We 've driven here a few times since lockdown only to be disappointed that it wasn 't open, so were pleased when we checked in this week to have a slap up lunch. Warm friendly welcome prompt service. I highly recommend the Croque Monsieur with an egg on top (I think that makes it a Madame with a side order of amazing Haloumi fries. My partner enjoyed a super ham cheese croissant 2 delicious coffees. They have daily specials too, yesterday was Lasagne which I almost went for but the Brioche CM won the day. Lots of interesting things to see in the shopping area, bit pricey for us but we have bought lovely furniture here previously in their January Sale. No plants in as yet, probably a bit earl...
