Looks nice place even when u go in still looks nice tried it a few times now But wouldn’t go back not with the kids In fact wouldn’t go back at all Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Needs to have better lighting. The room we sat in had really poor lighting, a bit of a slow service when ordering food. The food was good, not excellent, but still good. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

After a long walk from Stafford along the Derrington Trail, the dog friendly Royal Oak is a lovely place to rest and have a drink. I had the Gammon Egg and Chips, and Fiona had the Camenbert, both very tasty. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Worst beef I've every had, rotten roast potatoe, veg poor, pudding shortage including no ice cream, coffee half cups with cold milk, overhaul very poor experience and will not return, another family walked out as no-one was intrested in taking g their order. place only had 3 tables occupied at time. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly. I went in for Sunday lunch with a friend and we both enjoyed ourselves. The waitress was lovely and very polite (apologies for forgetting to leave a tip, we will make it up next time). My friend was impressed with the pub (it was their second visit) and wants to come back for Sunday lunch in a couple of weeks. We will definitely be returning. - Paul

I went to the Royal Oak on Sunday and had an absolutely delightful time. The pub had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were kind and attentive. The food was fantastic, especially the beef and vegetables, which were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Overall, I highly recommend the Royal Oak to anyone in search of a delicious meal in a lovely environment. I give it a 5-star rating. This is my second review of the Royal Oak and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Paul
