Rowan Tree - Carte

We visited the Rowan Tree as a family of 7 for dinner, everything was fantastic….food, service, atmosphere all first class. Kids loved playing in the park. Would highly recommend will definitely be back soon. Keep up the good work.

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the waitress. She was very attentive and looked after us well throughout our dining experience. Service was quick and the food was lovely. I got the sirloin steak and my daughter had the butter/popcorn chicken with fries. Both meals were thoroughly enjoyable and we will definitely be back soon.

Don't really rate this place at all. Dropped in for teas/soft drink and although the staff were pleasant and the place was clean enough, I don't think I'll be back. No crisps or nuts available at the bar. No biscuits or scones to purchase with tea. And pot of tea for two came with one cup. So bring your own if you drop in for a cuppa. Voir le carte

My family and I went out to eat at The Rowan Tree. We ordered a children's fish dish, which was cooked perfectly. The batter was crispy and delicious, and the hand-stretched pizza was excellent. The service we received was top-notch. Rachel and Rebecca took great care of us and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be returning.

What a fantastic evening at The RowanTree Armadale. We took our 2 older boys out for a family meal before Mum Dad go for a few days break. As always a happy, friendly atmosphere when you walk in and greeted with a smile From Ty Claire. We got seated at one of our favourite tables! No.2. Rachel introduced herself and noted all our drinks......what arrived with 2 minutes from Claire....massive thanks

We stopped by on a rainy and dismal day for lunch at a cozy and inviting pub. We were greeted warmly by Claire who took our drink orders. We enjoyed a delicious starter, main course, and ended with the delightful Sticky Toffee Pudding. Ty provided excellent service throughout our visit and was a very pleasant young man. There were four of us for lunch. Three had the steak/ gammon steak Thursday offer which were very tasty one had the chicken tikka masala which was also very good. As we were driving we had coca cola at £3.80 each which is far too expensive. We all have been to different Marsden's restaurants before and now feel the menu needs to change as it has been the same for too long. The staff were pleasant enough overall just an okay experience.

Another great meal at our fave local. We come here regularly as the combination of good food and excellent staff is a winner. Lucy, Rebecca and Ty took care of us tonight and we had a warm welcome and excellent service. Pizzas, burgers, curry Mac and cheese all delicious. Very attentive service the restaurant is very welcoming and clean. Very busy tonight with the good weather but our meals drinks still arrived in a good time frame. This lunch stop at The Rowan Tree was a spontaneous decision on our way to Edinburgh for two Australians who had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the great pub atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. The manager even had a friendly chat with my husband about whiskey and recommended some good ones to try while in Scotland. We highly recommend The Rowan Tree, as the Ale Pie and cheesecake were both delicious. Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience. Voir le carte
