"the forge lies in the place old- kötzschenbroda of radebeul which is so a bit the pubenmeile of the city. the local is not big and has only a few wooden and chairs for small or medium parts. with more than 6 people it is not recommended to go there and even you should try to reserve a few days before. the style is a nice mix of German or Mediterranean cuisine with Iranian-Scottish drink selection. there are kilkenny, guiness, strongbow and budweiser vom hahn and every amount of whiskys. necessarily also pay attention to the sign at the entrance, the whisky of the week stands for 4,80€- contempt! for 4cl!Cheers!"

"One day before the end of the year, the Dresden “Boulevardtheater” with the Dresden original “Bernd Seifert”. Since the performance began at 8 p.m., we wanted to leave some delicious food beforehand, and so let the year end together with the sister of my best. "We were in this restaurant during a celebration. The taste of the dishes of the entire buffet was excellent and was well appreciated by the usual 0815 offer of appetizers and main dishes. You really had a few special sets of regional and international cuisine, refined with some other spices and a beautiful show for the eye. The friendliness and attention of staff and management round off the whole positively. We spent a really nice evening in this restaurant! Thank you."

"After visiting the winery Schloss Wackerbarth (a "must visit", tram line 4 from Dresden and exit at Schloss Wackerbarth, trying to get Tripadvisor to list it, ) we took back the tram line 4 direction Dresden using our one day tram pass (only 8 euro) and got out at the Zillerstr. stop to walk up to the Spitzhaus. Wow! You need to be in good shape to climb up the hill (see photo) but it is a wonderful climb with on your left side the vineyards. They plant the vines up steep hills creating great wines. If you are not in good shape, take a taxi up to Spitzhaus and walk down the stairs to the main road (Meissen Strasse).Anyway, we were late to make reservations at the Spitzhaus and we got a lousy table, so we opted to go outside to the terrace. They have "self service" there with a very limited menu dominated by sea food. We just got some wine and beer, enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous views and selected Gasthaus Oberschaenke as the place to go have dinner in Radebeul - what a lucky hit! "we celebrated the school introduction of our children here in the beer garden. the tables were lovingly covered and decorated. the food ranged from lammhaxe, various steaks to light tappas and for the children there were nudges. despite the extensive buffet, everything was freshly prepared. on recommendation of the chef we chose the buffet. it was something for everyone, and it tasted wonderful for everyone. the service was very attentive and friendly. also the recommended wines from the region were perfectly matched to eating. we were all satisfied, our guests too, and thank the steakhaus team for the perfect celebration. we'll be back soon."
