We took a break to explore the area and decided to grab a meal. Although the scampi we initially ordered was unavailable, we chose another dish that turned out to be quite nice. Overall, I would rate the service a 5 and the location a 5 as well.

The staff made our monthly outing for a walk and meal truly memorable. We were in good spirits from the moment we arrived until we left, thoroughly enjoying a fantastic meal. We had a fantastic dinner and drinks with friends at The Rose and Crown last night. The menu was wonderful, offering delicious food and wine. The service was excellent, thanks to the friendly staff, especially Mireille. The pub is clean and comfortable, and the beautiful gardens are well kept. Highly recommended—we will definitely return! We initially joked about this pub as we walked by, but we decided to give it a try. We sat outside in the sunshine and ordered sandwiches and a beer. The sandwiches were delicious, and the beer was even better. The staff were friendly, serving everything with a smile. They even brought our dog a drink and a little treat. It’s a wonderful place!

I did not stay at the pub, but we had dinner the burger was overcooked. My chicken supreme was also overcooked but the sauce was nice. The service was good. My side veg was stone cold, made them aware and it was changed immediately good service nice people, they just need a better chef Safety: You could not feel safer in a village Walkability: The countryside nearby is stunning and the walks are easy to get to from the pub. The rose and crown Burwash I heard that there was a new chef. As it's been a while since I was there due to the fact I was very disappointed the last couple of times I thought I give it another try. I went Thursday it was fairly busy but I did not have to wait long at all The steak was perfect and the curry was as good as any take away. I enjoyed it so much that we went back Saturday this time it was very busy but again it was not waiting long and the food was once more great hats off to the chef and the pub.
