"Great location and should have been super after a long walk along the river, and we had been before. But two years on, not sure what's happened but the fish and chips at £13.99 each was inedible. Mine had obviously been cooked in an air fryer and was so overcooked it was a horseshoe shape and the fish flesh was incinerated. It was sent back immediately and a glass of wine offered free of charge while we waited for a fresh plate of food to arrive. Second effort was at least edible, but not delicious. Disappointing as we had had such a great, proper meal there previously. We won't be going back."

Staff were really friendly and chatty, complimented my earrings and had a lovely Christmas display. 10/10 would recommend, definitely a great atmosphere !!!

Just wanted to say what a charming Characterful pub, with warm and friendly helpful staff, the pub had a really buzzy feel and a warm welcome, I am not local just visiting with friends, but we had a super great evening, so lovely we are thinking this could be the place for us to relocate! Excellent quiz night, been three weeks on the trot and each time has been an experience. Quiz master, Chippy, is hilarious and keeps it fresh and funny. Billy and the other staff are welcoming and accommodating. Not for those who take themselves seriously, but if you are looking for a fun evening in a great atmosphere then you will not be disappointed

Went here initially for a quick drink, ended up staying for a few and having a spot of lunch. Really warm and welcoming staff, really willing to help and please us. Food of lovely as well. Right on the river bank and great to sit outside and enjoy a cozy hot/cold drink Already booked up for a meal this week. Team also have a host of events. Nice day, evening out
