Ropetackle Fish Chips

Lovely chippy, staff are so friendly and attentive. Food is delicious, and they were about to adapt to certain dietary needs. Will definitely be coming here again.

This place lacks the vital ingredient for any successful food outlet; Consistency. Sometimes its OK, sometimes it's bad. Not worth the gamble at 10 Quid for fish and chips.

The restaurant used to be excellent, but it has recently changed ownership. Unfortunately, the new owners do not appear to have a good handle on running the business. It's a disappointment. Voir le carte

First time getting food from here. We had Haddock, American burger, chips and chicken nuggets and Sticky toffee puddings Quality was brilliant, food arrived home hot. Burger was great, fish was fresh and desert went down well. We will definitely be back

We enjoy visiting Shoreham to take a stroll along the houseboats and to dine at this restaurant for fish and chips. They serve the best fish and chips we've ever had, always fresh and piping hot. The curry sauce is amazing, my husband especially enjoys being able to have a beer with his meal.

The fish and chips were excellent, restaurant not as busy as it should be, probably as it is located at the quiet western end of Shoreham High Street just across from the Ropetackle Centre Comfortable seating and temperature, no drafty open doors The music was of a much higher standard than most restaurants and cafés too Voir le carte

I used to love this restaurant in the past, but after visiting again recently, I regret trying it. The fish was very greasy and needed to be drained before eating. It seems like the restaurant has been taken over, and based on this experience, I won't be returning anytime soon. The savaloy also had a large split in it, making the overall meal disappointing.

We've ordered fish and chips for delivery from Ropetackle many, many times and have never been disappointed. Even when they have to contend with queuing traffic due to major long term road works on Brighton Road, Lancing the food always arrives piping hot. Perfectly white fish, fantastic batter and triple cooked chips what's not to like. First class food and a first class delivery service.

For a basic fish and chip shop ,eat in,out or take away we have found the food here constantly good. We visit Shoreham often and for a no-frills meal this restaurant fits the bill for a fish and chip feast. No great surprises on the menu,all the fish can be fried or grilled which is a plus,chips,salad or boiled potatoes so health conscious people can relax. Friendly service from a chirpy waitress. Good value and always fresh,just what your local fish and chip shop should be.We are regular visitors to Shoreham and this is on our list of revisits. Voir le carte
