Great that roots is back open. Great refurbishment, cafe lovely and clean, bright and welcoming. Toilets also had a makeover and smell nice!! Outside area improved also. Only stopped off for a quick brew and a bite to eat, but ended up staying for almost 2 hours. Great staff and even better service. The coffee was quality, and my cake was moist and tasty. My wife had a chip barmcake, and I've got to say, the chips were plentiful. We opted to sit at the outside seating area, which is a nice suntrap. Quiet and relaxing place to go, and the other patrons were delightful to chat with. Superb atmosphere.

We live really close to Roots Cafe and it’s fair to say that it had become a bit unloved. The new team have done a fantastic refurbishment (after getting lots of advice and feedback from cycling clubs and customers). It feels fresh, bright and clean and the garden is much improved. Our food (full English and small breakfast) was excellent high quality ingredients, well cooked. If you’ve been disappointed in the past, it’s definitely worth a visit now.

Wow, we knew Roots was under new management, but what a massive difference. Bright and much more space. Spotlessly clean and lovely welcoming staff. The food was delicious and piping hot. They have a fresh orange machine, ohhh, this is a game changer, I'd visit again just for the orange juice. Toilets are spotless and smell lovely. Also, they supply a basket of toiletries, including deodorant, which is a nice touch. We had a lovely pleasant morning and will most definitely be visiting again. Voir le carte
