Excellent fish and chips, planning to get down from London again soon just to get some more, friendly staff and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Has been my Favourite Leysdown chippie for Oh! 40 yrs maybe different owners but always good food either piece of Haddock or a couple of Saveloys plenty of vinegar and a sprinkle of vinegar

Just had the best fish chips from Woody's!good portion size!cooked well!very hot and nice colour and tasted great!very friendly efficient staff as well!we will definitely be returning each time we come to Leysdown!

I ordered online yesterday,it was so much easier.you can choose what time you wish to pick up. The food was delicious very got value for money. Will definitely be going back . Best chip shop and service on the island

had a nice takeaway, really nice chips. everything is freshly cooked (that means it can wait a bit, especially when it is busy). during the weekend there was no moment when there was no waiting queue, which is always a good sign. the personal was really friendly, it was really nice to see how she treated an old man who was obviously a more regular.

really efficient, friendly and really happy employees. all food freshly cooked to order and they can indicate salt and/or vinegar for each meal. the best fish and chips we had for a long time. really crispy teig on the fish plus disc lemon, and the chips perfectly cooked. hühnerburger and crushed sausages also decent. have been to many award-winning chippies in Britain and if the current standards are adhered to, this would make a very worthy winner!

beautiful fish and chip business with very nice employees! ordered the popular cod and chips with muddy heaps and they made it at the place that was so delicious. they had many different types of fishing and so many items on the menu that I have seen nowhere else. the load was very clean and a way system was also really good. with one standing to add more edgy could be nice, but unlike this very satisfied with this chippy:!! if I am back in the opposite, will definitely return!

I pre ordered and paid on the app that was suggested by them. It was easy to do. The pick up window was not accessable so I just went to the order window. I have to hand it to the owners of this place, they clearly put importance on customer service, they were very polite and very friendly. It's rare these days to be made to feel important as a customer and the staff here did exactly that. The food was well cooked and put in a sturdy cardboard box. I will go back again to woody's. Supporting local business is vital at the moment and I enjoyed my first experience with them.
