"We had a late lunch on Saturday afternoon and were the only diners.Claudia,our waitress,was nicely attentive and helpful.My wife and I both had the fishcake for main course and a selection of ice cream for dessert.All was delicious. Claudia went the extra mile when she made running repairs to my wife's shoe at the end of the meal! We will definitely return on our next trip to London"

Welcome to the brand new Roba Bar Restaurant in Paddington where a young executive chef – Andrea Secchi (ex-Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley) – a focus on in-house aging of beef and smoking of salmon, and a menu designed largely around a robata grill add up to a hearty dining experience.

The photos I saw led me to believe this was a dedicated restaurant, however it is a hotel restaurant in the bar area. Service, wine and food were all good but the atmosphere was lacking whilst I don’t like piped music not having any background noise meant everyone could hear each others conversations.

A very nice and elegant bar/restaurant. Serves as the main restaurant for the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was great. My favorite dish was the Salmon Tartar. Highly recommend. Will definitely visit soon. Got 4 stars only because it is a bit over priced, and I guess the reason being is that it is in a hotel.

I took a client here for a business lunch. I was looking for somewhere quiet where the background noise wouldn't make it difficult to hear each other and I wasn't disappointed. I was not sure of the food preferences of the group and there was something for everyone. At £15 for a 2 course lunch, it represented good value for London.

We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday with a party of 15 people in the evening. We had an afternoon tea with champagne. The sandwich and cake selection was amazing. The hot scones, clotted cream and jam was to dye for. Staff and service was excellent. Beautiful venue. We will definitely go there again. We won't go by our car as parking big problem.
