"This was my first visit with my two grandsons 11 and 6, the lady that served us seemed a little bit reserved but perfectly pleasant an efficient. Two full breakfasts and beans on toast were ordered with tea, coffee and a bottle of orange, the drinks arrived quickly. A few minutes passed and the youngest needed the toilet which are at the rear of the cafe and spotlessly clean, the food had arrived by the time we got back to the table. The presentation of the food was done in a very appealing way, with the baked beans in a small pot so not swamping the rest of the food unless you want to do it. The bacon had all the fat removed which I thought was another nice touch it is obviously they care and the taste and quality of the food proves it."

Just had lunch here. What a find. Hot, home made buttery garlic bread, pate, salad and relish for under a fiver. Delicious! Don't know how they did it for cost. Highly recommend

What a lovely place. I had a delicious bacon and egg and sandwich on fabulously fresh bread with a proper cup of tea. Great food, lovely decor and the cafe was spotlessly clean throughout. Staff were very nice and friendly.

Excellent breakfast always, very good value for money, the portions are massive and the food is always fresh and homemade. Staff are always friendly and polite. Their Greek nights are fantastic too, lots of lovely food and live music. Voir le carte

Supporting my local cafe by treating myself to a Full English. Been a busy week of training for a new job. Brain ache needs brain food The Riverside never disappoints. Excellent food, great friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. You MUST try it!

Lovely establishment with welcoming staff and delicious, homemade food. The place was impeccably clean and the staff were very conscious of COVID safety measures. My son and I enjoyed the Ultimate Breakfast while my wife had the Smashed Avocado, all dishes were flavorful and generously sized. We also got some of their homemade cakes to go, which were absolutely delicious.

attended today in a group. 9 breakfasts plus drinks ordered and paid for at the same time. the host seemed to lose the drinks order and had to hunt it down. drinks finally started arriving 15 minutes after ordering, the same time as the food. not all meals where cooked as ordered. walked back in after leaving to use the gents and got barked at excuse me sir, this is not a public toilet very Christian this time of year in the cold. Oh my goodness, it has been such a long time since I've had a delicious cooked breakfast at my favorite cafe. But it's back and now open for indoor dining. The set breakfast is only £6.50, which includes tea/coffee and toast. I am completely satisfied! My friends are eager to join me for breakfast. We may even do brunch soon. Welcome back to all the customers and staff. It's great to see the place bustling with activity again. The food is as fantastic as always. Let's continue to support our local community. You must come and eat here!! Xxx

If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast, snack, lunch, or afternoon tea in Bristol, this place is the best! The selection, atmosphere, ambience, and exceptional service from the management and staff are top-notch. The prices are very reasonable as well. My wife enjoyed their homemade scone (fit for a fancy hotel), and I had the best bacon sandwich I've ever had! Be sure to visit soon, you won't be disappointed! We're already looking forward to going back again! John and Gill (Bristol) I wish I could give it a six-star rating! They also offer takeaway options.
