Riverside - Carte

5.75 a pint of Stella. Staff added 10% service charge on top. (I queued to be served and took my drink back to my table) 6.33 a pint in total

Lovely setting and decent food but thought the menu was a little limited and they were clearly understaffed as many places are at the moment. Good for a spot of lunch but there are other options in town.

The staff was very friendly. While the starter was disappointing, the main dish was excellent. The food was reasonably priced, but the wine was excessively expensive. The tables and chairs could be rearranged, but the lighting was too bright and the music too loud. Voir le carte

Both the starter and the main course were very good, but there was a significant delay before dessert was served. I feel that during holiday parties, guests might not receive the best service. If it hadn't been for our delightful waitress, we might have chosen to dine elsewhere in Stratford.

We arrived to find that there wasn’t a table reserved for us. There was also a very big noisy group at the bar. It was impossible to get near enough to say that we weren’t staying and would like to cancel the booking. So we left. We have eaten on the terrace on another occasion recently and it was very good.

Excellent service. Welcomed by our waiter Sam who was so pleasant and friendly, nothing was to much trouble for him. He’s a real asset to your team. The food selection was limited and the main course came out before we’d finished our starters so perhaps a little to efficient. The ambience and surroundings were lovely. Voir le carte

Our reservation didn't go through at Riverside, but fortunately, there were plenty of available tables in the restaurant. It was quite noisy due to a large number of people at the bar, likely from a conference taking place. The food was enjoyable, although the chips were extremely hot, so we had to let them cool for about 15 minutes. Overall, the service was excellent.

I made a reservation waiting to eat at a restaurant, but it turns out that at this time there is only service at the bar. We end up eating from the bar's small menu, being served by the bar-tenders (very friendly, but they are not restaurant waiters.) the meal frankly...not good or bad. they should correct the schedules to not make reservations before 17:00 when the restaurant opens.

This is the restaurant at the Crowne Plaza hotel. When you go to the breakfast room they give you a card to note allergens. Our daughter ate here safely both mornings we were here. It is a buffet but when I expressed concern about buffet safety first a celiac they said they make food for celiacs in the kitchen. The first morning was quieter and they gave her the allergen binder and worked with the kitchen to make my daughter an omelet and hashbrowns. The next day was busier, and the different waitress did not ask about potatoes, but again my daughter had a safe, good size omelet. They have a station with packets of Schar corn flakes and muesli.
