"very nice resetaurant with a good value for money. eating is delicious, the service nice and fast and the ambiente appealing. perfect for the lunch table. you have to reserve because the restaurant is really well visited and accordingly (also owed to the stone floor) it is more violently louder. for us just right as a group, for a daring Candellight experience rather too loud, but you rarely look for it at lunchtime"

Lack of customer orientation in their service. Meals were nothing special. The atmosphere was alright, but unless you live on the same street I wouldn't bother going there. I'm definitely not going back, especially not to be treated that way.

We enjoy always this restaurant with friendly service and tasty food. Regular menus are quite typical Italian, however you are able to enjoy seasonal foods if you chose from weekly menu. Everything is fine, you might satisfy if you don't expect too much.

We grabbed a few takeaway pizzas while staying close by to Romanella. The people are friendly and the quality of pizza is good, I liked the quite bizarre Bismarck I had while the rest of our group were happy with their more traditional choices. When a colleague recommended this restaurant, we were warned that the decor is tacky (colleague was spot on), but assured that the food and service were good (colleague was wrong).I am not sure I have ever suffered service as slow as this.To add insult to injury, the food was sub-par, too. I had pasta with a cream sauce; the sauce was split.Won't be going back.

We've been to Romanella several times now and we always enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and the delicious food and wine. We tend to go for pizzas and pastas, although the salads are also good and they offer a selection of meat and fish main courses that we haven't got round to trying yet. Overall, it's a reliable, good value restaurant and we will no doubt keep visiting for as long as we live in Frankfurt!
