"We live locally but have not been in town for a while. We used to eat here when it was a different restaurant. Popped our heads round the door to ask if we could eat... as it was after 3pm...warm welcome from the Owner who informed us the restaurant was closed but we could eat in the bar area from the Klein Karte..Good selection on the card, minestone soup, lasagen,vegetarian canneloni, various cold plates. Ee ordered Lasagne. It was delicious. Presentation was Perfect on a hot Iron skillet. We enjoyed the atmosphere so stayed a bit longer. We enquired about desserts , we were told they are freshly made daily but unfortunately out of tiramisu. We had the profiteroles and banoffee pie, beautifully presented and tasted divine.We had a lovely chat with the Owner who speaks perfect English, Italian and German. She was very welcoming and a great hostess. She even recommended another restaurant in another village that belongs to her ex partner as we told her we have friends who live there. We knew someone at the next table and can see that this place has a lot of regulars.Will definately return so that we can sample the lunchtime menu which looked pretty extensive. Thank you for a great first time experience and we look forward to seeing you again."

We had two beef steaks and they were prepared very god. Food is delicius service is great and definitly one of the best option in Hermagor

We came for a late lunch to try this nice looking place. The mixed salad (starter) was simple and well seasoned. Fish fillet was good, tasty, and quite a big dish. Side dished were good as well. We were sorry not having the opportunity to come again in this trip - next trip in this area, we sure will...

I think this place deserve to be mentioned as one of the good places in Hermagor. There is a more upmarket option and many bad options in town. We were very happy to find this place based on the 2 previous reviews. It is as previously reported. This is well run. The staff/waitress was very professional. The pasta is well prepared although I am not the ultimate judge on the matter of pastas (I let Italian do this job!). The prices are very reasonable. In short we had an excellent meal, well served and we came out very happy. This a good place for families too.
