"unfortunately we were made to feel like an inconvenience and after 7 hours drive our patient was not great. the restaurant is part of the hotel and when we arrived at 9 o'clock, we thought it reasonable to eat there. we have the restaurant. at 930 o'clock it closes at 10 o'clock. we were handed over our menus and then left alone for 20 minutes. at 950 my man went to the waiter to come and take our command. he came to our table and the first thing he said was “the kitchen closes at 10 a.m.” we informed that we were ready to order for 15 minutes, so there was no problem. the whole service was uncomfortable and unpleasant. we are happy to travel in Germany on a family holiday that our first since pre covid with the family flying from singapur, Great Britain and Spain, we hear about how important it is to spend our money and help the economy. that was not a place where I was happy when we felt like a last and an inconvenience. for the happiness the hotel has much better service"

We had a nice meal after a business meeting at the nearby Eden hotel. The steak was great and the service friendly and attentive. However, the dessert menu was quite limited, only tartufo and ice cream were available.

We stayed at the Eden and chose this Italian restaurant because there seemed to be few reasonable alternatives in Gottingen. And luckily it is connected to the hotel so it is very convenient. We liked it so much we went back again on the next night, which I think is a pretty good recommendation. The menu is extensive. The decor is a little formal (white table cloth) but the service is friendly, the clientele casual, and the prices are reasonable.
