This is an excellent choice for a good lunch at a reasonable price in Göttingen. I highly recommend it.

I've lived in Göttingen a couple of years and this is definitely my favourite place to eat. The staff are friendly, the food is great and all of the prices are very reasonable!

The food is good, but on two of the four times I have been here, the change was short or so beware. Insist on “Leitungswasser” or you will pay for water from the tap (or just order beer).

Menu is available in German and English. Vegetarian options are marked with a V plant but no special marking for vegan so you'll need to check it yourself by looking at the allergen notes which are available for every dish. Some of the staff doesn't know English so we had to point and mimic but it all worked out in the end and the food is absolutely delicious. I had lunch here last week. Food was just ok. Vietal Village, which is located right next to it, is much better both in terms of food and service. Earlier today Vietal was closed, so I decided to give Sen Viet another try. The battery...on my cell phone was running low, so I asked the waiter politely in German "ist es möglich if it was possible to charge it somewhere inside the restauant for minutes. He interrupted me bluntly and an answer he told me in a moralising tone: You have to make sure your cell phone has got enough battery, that's not our job to take care of I said thank you, and left.

Came here for a late dinner with my husband and yr old son. We wanted to eat light but still try several different things so we ordered appetizers and a Pho entree to split. After the appetizers, beer, wine, and carafe of...mineral water we told the waitress we wanted to share a Pho. She tried to argue that it would n’t be enough but we assured her it would be fine. (We were actually already full). Her attitude toward us went from friendly to hateful after that. We thought we would make it up to her with a nice tip.
