"I recently booked in Casa Nostra for my 40th birthday party. It was a large booking and the team were incredibly helpful in making the booking and even allowing us to add a couple of extra places at the last moment. As we were a large party we sent our menu choices in advance. On the day it all worked with military precision. My husband and I are regular visitors which is why I chose Casa Nostra for my birthday party. All of our friends said how much they enjoyed their time and said how great the food was. A highly recommended restaurant for big and small parties with absolutely amazing service from very helpful staff"

"Lovely interior, although if you struggle with stairs you should request a ground floor table. Slightly aggressive air con, but the staff did adjust it for us. Fabulous selection of fish and sea food, steaks, and one or two vegetarian options. I couldn't see anything vegan. Food was tasty and clearly prepared with love. I had a risotto that was nice and creamy. Service was good but occasionally slow. It was pretty popular for a mid week evening, so booking is advised. Vegetarian options: A couple of choices of both starters and mains. "I visited my daughter and son-in-law last week and on my request they had booked a table for us on black horse on Saturday night at 1 o'clock. we arrived shortly before the pm and all four of us stood in the bar where two were served. it wasn't busy. no one told us anything until the bar was clear and then one of the ladies looked at me and I said we booked a table in my name of my daughter and she saw the bookings and said oh yes, we had table assigned and pointed into another room. there was no greeting no smiling, so we met our way to the table and sat there. there were no menus on the table, so I stood up to find some and someone only made their way from the other room in the direction of our table. we ordered drinks that were in themselves a task, as they had no free or dietary limmonade, so I had to go to the end for a gin with slimline tonic. then we ordered four different meal times. I ordered a vegetarian curry in naanbrot and when it finally came, I was so disappointed because the naanbrot was burned and the curry was cold on the outside, so I asked them to take it back. the waitress asked if I wanted to order something else and I went back. my daughter then shared some of her meals with me, who were chicken pupils. they were coated in a teig that was extremely fat. the menu does not seem to come out of any meal with fresh vegetables, everything seemed to come with chips and draughts, even the Steak-Mahl came only with chips and draughts, no mushrooms, tomatoes, wobble rings or something. I wasn't impressed. for a pub that wants good reviews, I think they have lost the property. the customer service is everything and fresh vegetables is essential. I'm sorry to be the bearer worse, but we won't come back."

"we have often eaten here and made very mixed experiences. lately we didn't even get so far that we were sitting on a table! we arrived on time, booked a table for dinner on a Saturday evening, but minutes later we were still standing in a waiting line on the door waiting for our table. we were able to hear the people at the nearby tables, who complained that they had expected an age and had not even been taken their soaking order. on another table we started and experienced main courses together! we were often told that our table is ready soon, but nothing happened despite the fact that we could see one table for four without one table throughout the time we had expected. not sure who the special guests were that it was saved. unnecessary to say that we have gone after minutes and at this time the people were to remain silent before the door! After we have said all this, we have at previous places delicious food and good service in little thai, but at the last weekend it was chaotic. the lack of consistency is not to sit and will affect itself in a small city like this custom. we will try again, however, based on previous good experiences."
