We had an excellent meal here beginning with a mix of local specialities and then pork with chanterelles mushrooms and spätzle. Excellent beer, it being part of a brewery. Good service, packed with locals

We made a quick stop in Augsburg and accidentally ended up at this fabulous brewery. The traditional Bavarian food was delicious and so was the beer, which I sadly could only sample as we had another six hours to drive. Would definitely come back. An...absolute gem!

Very big restaurant close to the main railway station with possibility to sit also outside. The menu is large, the waitress are nice. We had two different burgers, they were tasty. The only pity were the French fries that were too thin and thus dry....It is a good place to go out with friends.

This restaurant belongs to the Riegele Brewery which is famous for excellent beers. It is a location with traditional furniture and special Bavarian/ Swabian dishes. In the summer months the beergarden next to the restaurant is worth a visit. They even offer workshops how to...make beer. Come and enjoy everything.

Stopped here with my wife on a Tuesday teatime. Didn't have a reservation but it wasn't busy so we were seated quickly. Beer selection as a brewpub was excellent. Planks of small beer tasters were available. Food was fine, my wife had a vegetable curry...which in line with any curry we have had in Germany was reluctance to add many spices. I had the speciality burger. Unusually it was assembled with red cabbage which didn't add to the experience apart from splattering all over my Lacoste trainers. Great for trainspotting as it is right next to the main line.

We tried this last night having read the reviews on here and one night only in Augsburg. Overall it was a very good experience. It was busy but we were welcomed and found a table albeit shared and that we had to be finished by...8.30 which wasn’t a problem for us. Waitress was very friendly and helpful with advice as to which beer to choose. We ordered the schnitzel which was good but not the best we had experienced in Germany. Other food coming out looked good and people seemed to be enjoying their meals. They had a huge crowd in but service was very good. The beer was lovely. I probably wouldn’t go again but can recommend for a standard meal but overall good experience.

I met my nephew in Augsburg and he picked Riegele Wirtshaus since it was close to the central train station. Very cool old style Biergarten in a renovated, clean, bright venue. Right across from their brewery, the location was super convenient. Boy, can’t say enough,...great beer selection, really tasty. Food as well great mix of traditional Bavarian and updated dishes. Food was excellent, and perfectly cooked. I got a ribeye that was excellent. The service was extraordinarily attentive and friendly. I arrived early for our reservation due to my train schedule, and they got me a table spot to enjoy a beer while I waited. They have a gift shop with clothes, books, glassware, and of course all...
