Probably the best restaurant in Vienna. Tired of schnitzel… please try this restaurant. We went twice… family of 4, myself, wife and two late teens. Everyone truly enjoyed it. I am partial to Diablo Ribs, but everything was unbelievable tasty.

I thought I was talking to a tourist trap when I saw some Asians (like a tour) eating there, but the food proved I was wrong. The rib is just incredibly delicious! Please book before you come, I saw quite a lot of people waiting outside when I finished my meal at 3.

Delicious ribbons!!! So many options to choose from!! Portions are huge for a $20 dish. Ambiance was great- built in a cellar vault in 1591. We have the nuts ribs, garlic ribs, rib of Vienna, gourmet and Provence, which was less tasteful. Great service. Must be a Res weeks in advance!! Voir le carte

Sooo delicious!!! Massive portion, but I managed to eat all lol: the waiter was super friendly and makes me able to sit without reservation. They came here alone, but they treated me very well! I tried the most popular. Interesting was that the restaurant was filled with East Asians, cz his very famous place from Korean community hahahaha dont hesitate to come here!

I met up with some friends for dinner here during my whirlwind 36 hours in Vienna. It was conveniently located between where they live and where we were staying, offers authentic Austrian food, and was not terribly expensive. On top of that, we had reservations for the outdoor terrace. And that offered a spectacular view to add to our dining experience. Brandauer is on the top floor of the Gerngross shopping center. I am not sure if it is 100% accessible to all, but they have indoor space too. If you eat on the rooftop, be aware the restrooms are a bit of a hike down a floor and across the building. The view is worth it. Our server was just fine, not overbearing and able to split the bill at...

Brandauer at Gerngross on the Mariahilferstraße is a popular lunch spot. Especially popular is its buffet priced at around 10 Euro. Unfortunately this is not a winner with me. First of all, I should say here that buffets are not my favorite way to eat. I find all the getting up and down disruptive to conversation .... and I usually eat much more than I want to of food that is usually only middle of the road in quality. I also don't know how long the food has been sitting out or been under the heat lamp. For the most part I avoid food buffets except the obligatory hotel breakfast buffets when I am travelling. This Brandauer buffet was heavy on the meats and carbs with only an acceptable salad... Voir le carte
