"This is a delightful rest stop while exploring the charming Coastal Isle of Wight Town of Shanklin. One unique feature of the Isle of Wight is the presence of the native RED squirrel, which can often be spotted in the grounds of Rylstone Tea Gardens. Unlike other areas invaded by the American Grey squirrel, the Isle of Wight remains untouched by these unwanted intruders. The owners of Rylstone Tea Gardens have set up feeding stations to attract the RED squirrels, providing visitors with the chance to see this truly English creature in its natural habitat. In addition to the wildlife, the tea gardens also offer a selection of hot beverages and delicious food options on their menu. For a taste of authentic English charm and a light meal, be sure to stop by Rylstone Tea Gardens. Please note that only major credit cards are accepted."

We enjoyed a lovely snack at the tea rooms. The food was delicious, nicely presented, and the view overlooking the crazy golf course was fantastic.

Enjoyed a coffee whilst watching the kids do a round of crazy golf. Golf course is quite traditional, nothing too fancy. Quick service and lots of others here enjoying themselves.

We visited this restaurant on a chilly September day and were welcomed warmly by the owners. It is a lovely place that is very dog-friendly, with dog beds and treats available. We enjoyed a delicious slice of cake and a drink before exploring the gardens. The owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable, making our day. We will definitely be returning next year on our next holiday. Voir le carte

It may of been the young girl who served us first day at the job,or she may of been told to make tea this way, but who puts water in cup and tea bag in a dish on side? This obviously results in tea that doesn’t brew properly, as by the time you’ve paid and got to your table, the water has cooled. Also, picking cups up by rim to put on tray isn’t really nice as you’ve had fingers where your lips will be drinking. Hopefully this was first day and she hadn’t been told. Was nice pleasant place to sit and listen to the music from the bandstand a bit further over.

Visited the cafe and crazy golf on a rainy summer day and played some crazy golf but rain stopped play sadly but owners says we could return to finish our round. We returned the following day and not only were we allowed to restart our round but also enjoyed a fantastic cream team, and our Labrador Humphrey enjoyed some dog biscuits and a sleep in the shade on a comfy dog bed! Owners were so friendly and the crazy golf was a proper traditional testing course without any dinosaurs or fibre glass in view, instead lots of hand made traditional windmill style heritage holes which were a good leveller for all family members (Dad won by 2 strokes from 9 year old son!)We will be back! Thanks for ma...
