"Myself and my Boyfriend stayed at the hotel for the weekend. The food that we had on the evening of our stay was absolutely amazing!! We came for the spa and relaxation experience which we received but we were overwhelmed by how good the food was. Even the bread and butter we had was great! I had the scollops to start while my partner had the pigeon both of which we loved. I then had the ox cheek while he had the pork chop, my main course was my favourite part of the meal, the meat was cooked amazingly and everything complimented it so well. For dessert we had the orange chocolate fondant and the banana parfait which were a great way to end our meal. The gentleman who was serving us was so lovely (I’m really annoyed I didn’t get his name) He was telling us about how he was moving up higher to management? Whoever he was he was very hospitable. We had a bottle of red with our meal and finished it off with a couple of amazing cocktails at the bar. We also had breakfast at the restaurant too, the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had! My ONLY criticism of the whole weekend was the bar staff at the lounge/bar area could have been a little more accommodating, the lady kept disappearing when ourselves and other guests required more drinks. I would 100% recommend this hotel and especially the restaurant!"

Venue lovely, team personable but appeared short handed, were not aware we wanted wine with lunch, no bread with starters til I asked, order of cake, coffee, prosecco toast not followed. Main course dishes not served hot

Cream tea for four ... sandwiches disappointing ... very frugal filling .. Poor choice of cakes and found hair In one ... thought it was mine .. but it was thoroughly embedded in the cake ... not enough cream or jam for the scones .. but scones delicious .

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here recently. We had such a wonderful time. The food was great and there were a variety of dishes to choose from. What made it extra special was the wonderful restaurant staff. We were throughly spoiled. Thank you. Voir le carte

I recently stayed over night and it was my first time dinning here in the evening, i must say its a great atmosphere in the restaurant and i was lucky enough to stay when the menu had been renewed. thank you to the tall waiter for being so accommodating to my fussy diet requirements!

Was an ok experience but will not be returning. Firstly, I booked a table online for a family celebratory dinner in advance but was only given an option for a 6.15pm table. It was clear that they only allocate tables later in the evening for hotel guests, not sure why we were treated second class. Also I tried to get hold of the hotel to a) request a later table b) add an additional guest c) request a cake message for a special birthday. I called numerous times over 10 days and sent an email but no response. Pretty shocking.
