A fabulos place to have a remarcable evening. Staff 5 stars!!! Steak is amazing! A very good place to feel german style in a very beatiful village.

had mediterrean salad and aspergus. nice service. some waiting. 31 euro. aspergues was good al dente. salad lacked green leaves but had coppa and cheese and figue. would come again. but it is no must go. rather a 4-.

Great variety of local food and all time favourites. Steaks to die for. And the "outside" area (under a roof that can be opened up) with its many different levels under a real "vineyard" is a fabulous place to eat in. My favourite restaurant in the entire area. Voir le carte

I went there with my parents today. We had reserved a table (needed during holiday season). Food was okay and good quality. Service was responsive. Nothing special here. The menu could be described as traditional German with some local twist, but also a bit boring.

It's not the first time we've been here.Definitely make a reservation before you go! That is the most important tip!The food was delicious as always, the ambience is amazing especially when the wine grows and carries crops. The waitress are very nice and helpfulThe only thing it's time to renew the bathrooms ;-) they are clean but very old.We will come back

It is a tradition to celebrate my late mother's birthday in February and our wedding anniversary in August at this lovely, romantic restaurant. The food is good, the service friendly and the atmosphere suggests outside dining even in winter. Even though the restaurant is often very full and can therefore be quite noisy, we love going there and will continue doing so. Voir le carte

Been here last weekend to have a nice dinner with my German friends.The service was very good and friendly....to my surprise they even had the menu in English. This is very uncommon in the area, but this also says something about this restaurant, right?I ordered a nice steak and some nice regional white wine ....everything tasted good and we really had a good time there....Was a very lovely and happy experience indeed.

We had (1) pork cheeks in red wine sauce and (2) white asparagus [Spargel] w/ assorted hams.All very tasty and served in generous portions. The pork cheeks [or Schweinsbaeckchen] (as you may expect) were VERY tender and juicy, served in a delectable red wine sauce.Service impeccable, although the restaurant was well booked.Very pleasant atmosphere under the green grape vine foliage.Worthwhile dining spot, if you are fond of exploring the local Franconian wine country cuisine and its restaurants.Fair prices: we paid EUR 40 for 2 generous main meals, incl 0.5l local Riesling.Enjoy!

I noted with average ...because the place is nice, the ambient is good ...very good actually for this area ..nothing to say about the lovely garden, or lovely wine The problem is that the location is very asked ..and they can afford to keep you at the door 15minutes just because they dont know exactly what table to give you because they are all "reserved"...in the conditions that one day before we said on the phone that we will be 4 persons or PROBABLY 6 ...so they should prepare a 6 persons table...right? and guest what? They prepared a 4 pers table and we haid to wait at the door 15minutes for somebody else (another waitress) to came and to offer us a 6 pers table but only until 19:00 ..an... Voir le carte
