"Stopped in here for dinner and had a great experience! Atmosphere: this restaurant is located in an old house and takes up the entire bottom floor. It is divided into several different areas with plenty of seating for a variety of different sized groups. It is decorated in a Mexican feel and is very comfortable. There is even a bar area for those not wishing to eat. I spoke with the owner (who is very personable and makes himself visible) and found that they also have live music every so often. Staff: the waitress was polite, professional, and attentive. She made us feel right at home and made sure we had anything we might need. Food: awesome! We had called ahead and placed an order for a single meal for our party. We had Mexican style Schnitzel (with melted cheese and jalapeños), fries, and sautéed zucchini. Prior to the main course, we had pancake soup, which was simply amazing! This is definitely a great restaurant with a wonderful staff! If you want to try something different that will taste good, this is it!"

We were there with our dog. The food was delicious and also the cocktails. The conditions were very friendly and received the order quickly. We felt very comfortable. Also the dog . At the next holiday we look forward to coming back.

Avoid this place at all costs! Service was extremely rude, the food wasn't even close to Mexican, and last but not least, the owner tried to trick me into not filling in the tip/total lines on my receipt!! When I insisted, she pitched a **** and told me to leave. Beware...

ambiente: careless seat cover service: uninterested, uncompetent, almost still child. reorder are ignored. wait time: about 1 hour food quality: partly cold din; portioning clear. not to try out individual components, since everything was mixed with a boiled, inappropriate sauce. but the prices are quite high. conclusion: again and again. we know much better mexicans, for example in herrshahn.

One of the very few restaurants in Cochem, where everything is true. Good service, good food and reasonable prices. Especially in the evening, you should adjust yourself to include a longer waiting period for free tables and also longer waiting times for food. But it is very understandable when it comes up and the food is really worth it. We were there two days in a row. At any time, if we're in Cochem. Voir le carte

So very lucky to get a table for as we had no reservation. Prices look high, but boy, the plates are loaded with really delicious food, whether you chose Mexican, burgers, or German style pork steaks. Very friendly staff and the restaurant was so...busy, but we felt as if we had our own personal waitress. Cocktails were delicious!! Will be going back in the spring but will make a reservation, just in case.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and lingered into the afternoon. Table on the terrace are quieter than those in front of the restaurant and thus more relaxing. Service was good, not rushed but suitably attentive. My waitress was warm friendly and helpful. I had...the pulled pork and coleslaw on a bun and it was frankly delicious. It went well with the nice cold glass of Riesling but beer might have been a better choice. I will be here a couple of days and will likely go back

"I read some reviews and heard from friends that this was thé place to eat in Cochem am Mosel, so we were very excited to find the restaurant near empty on our arrival as we had expected a wait. There was nobody to greet us as we walked in so after waiting politely waiting at the entrance for a bit we decided to seat ourselves awaiting the the host, waiter/waitress to come and greet us.It took another 5 minutes for the waitress to show up. As soon as she showed up she kindly requested us to move from the cozy booth-like spacious table to a smaller wooden table. Since the entire restaurant was empty, with the exception of one gentleman and it was about an hour before closing we did not see her point to keep the large table for non-guests so we kindly declined. The frauleins entire attitude changed and we could hear her screaming and yelling in the kitchen to the chef. She then proceeded to vent her grief to the other patron in German. One might imagine her surprise when I kindly informed her that I was able to understand her conversations ( I am Dutch so I understand the language ) and did not appreciate her treating us this way. Being used to American customer service I do lower my standards somewhat but to be told smack about a semi-professional in a small town restaurant in the middle of nowhere is not something I accept. We were looking forward to taste the local food but were quite frankly concerned that this would come with some non-sanitary condiments."
