Restaurant La Vita - Carte

Very good food, very attentive and friendly service. Because one meal was particularly good, we got his recipe and tips on how to prepare it from the chef.

We were recommended this place by a local person in a shop, A bit expensive but where isn't in Switzerland. But the food was great and the wine too. Lots of locals in there too so, a must in our eyes.

Availability and kindness are the secrets to giving customers a smile, even on the unhappy days in the restaurant which, inevitably, can happen. 4 stars more than deserved, I hope it can be 5 next time Voir le carte

Staying at the Hotel Stern next door. Stopped in for a drink and to check out the menu for a romantic dinner the next night. Got one drink and the bartender disappeared. Could not get anyone to acknowledge us or ask us if we wanted anything. Needless to say we won’t go there for dinner or anything else. Terrible service.

We had taken a walk around the old town of Chur and then decided we would eat in this restaurant. It was just after 17:00 when we walked in. What we hadn't realised was that although the restaurant opens at 17:00 hot food...is not available until 18:00. However, the staff welcomed us and we sat at our table with a drink until the kitchen was ready. We had an excellent meal and the staff were very friendly.

Hey everyone, the pizza here is good and even more with the hair we found in 3 differents plates ! If you want a very good service where the staff says it s your fault if you ordered the wrong meal even after telling her 3 times that it was not spaghetti but paccheri and she stills bring back spaghetti after 30 minutes or when you wait your beer for 30 minutes and when you ask the staff where it is he answered : “if you order it, it means it coming you just need to be patient”, go ahead and have a very good time in this horrible restaurant, the food is good tho. Looked at the reviews and d video to give this restaurant a try. The summer menu was available and I started with an excellent gazpacho which had chopped prawns added. Very good starterThe schweinsteakteller was a excellent to follow with a huge dressed salad and z generous pork steak. Even with my large appetite I could not quite clear the plateThe restaurant does not have much in the way of English speaking staff but the dessert menu with excellent photos tempted the palate and I enjoyed a citron sorbet with a liqueur poured over it. Very refreshing.There is a wide wine list but there was no pushing the wine st you and I enjoyed a very palatable glass of red wineI would recommend this rest...

I was at restaurant La vita with my family last September.. First we ordered 4 Fish soups for the Starter And then for the Main Course we had a Fish plate with 4 different varieties of Fish for 4 persons .. And OMG the food...was mouth watering, I never had fish that good for a long time, The chefs did really a good job cooking our food .. For the Wine selections, they had a different Menu card just for the wine. As I remember, they had like 40 different types of Red wine and 19 different types of white wine. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant was just right next to our hotel around the corner. The place was really packed. We were led to the end table for two which was quieter.We would like to have lasagne or machheroni but both were not available. So we settled for a pizza with chili salami, tomato, mozzarella and oregano and tagliollini with bolognese sauce. My hubby also had a glass of white wine. What surprised us most was the first dish, which we did not expect - amuse bouche featuring something similar to quiche, with two types of olives on the side. It was nice.The bread was also good.
