"the restaurant brentano is located a bit behind the widebachplatz in berlin. it is an upscale restaurant serving delicious German food with French touch. I had see messing on fennel, a glass of German grayburgunder (pinot gris) and a small glass of...Mirabelle to surpass it. the waitress was very attentive, offered an salate as start, and the salat was well made, only with vinegar, oil and seasoning, maybe a bit of scavenging in the sauce. the brentano is more elevated than the other places around the Breitebachplatz, and if they feel like a noble German court, it is the right place to go. I will certainly return to the brentano with the berliner leber that I have seen in the menu and with a good glass wein from the carefully selected list of wee from Germany and from other countries. Moreover, I am curious about the themed evenings (thematic evenings,) which they seem to put together with a lot of imagination, for example the amuse bouche menu or venison specialties."

excellent service and wine. small restaurant near the widebachplatz on the u3 line. the meal began with a cream of mushroom soup. it was a struggle to decide between mushroom or chestnut soup, but mushrooms certainly excelled. the chestnut soup looked just as appealing. The...Gans was very sharp on the outside and yet delicate on the inside. the sides come on separate plates, so they can only take part that suits them. the wine selection is excellent.

Décoration classique avec nappes et serviettes en tissus qui ne présagent en rien une cuisine que nous avons trouvé très moyenne. Les produits sont sûrement frais mais les plats vraiment n 'ont rien d 'exceptionnel. Par contre addition très salée : 110 € à quatre avec un plat chacun et les boisson. Nous n 'y retournerons pas.
