Breakfast process is totally disorganised; long waiting times; wrong orders; and very poor quality when eventually delivered. Serious lack of process and management.

Clearly they bank on the captive guest unless you want to drive. Chewy beef rump and whole main course luke warm. Service staff not interested. Scampi starter tiny. £30 for 2 courses

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The views were beautiful, the variety of drinks was impressive, and the service was excellent. Salim, in particular, provided outstanding customer service and paid great attention to detail. He is a star.

The service is slow. The food is fine but served on big plates which show up the portion size. If you want chips,potatoes or veg these come as a side dish at £5 each. Cost is on the high side because you are a 'captive audience ' with no nearby alternatives.

Three prior reviews are certainly not my experience. Were they at the same restaurant I wonder? Young staff who couldn't be more helpful, welcoming and friendly. Good sized portions and good quality too. Possibly a slightly more limited evening menu than prior to covid but I'm sure there's something for everyone. Buffet breakfast exceeds Premier Inns. Great choice too. Plently of space between tables and what a view over the golf course, River Tweed and hillside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two dinners at the Renwicks Restaurant. The steak tasted amazing, and came as blue as I want it to be, the lemon torte and sticky toffee pudding were delicious, and the chicken liver parfait was very tasty. Our main issue was with portion sizes, not so much with the meat or fish themselves but with the vegetables/bread that come with them. I got one small mushroom and half a tomato with my steak! And the portion of celery remoulade with the chicken was very small. I also had the lamb which was fine (some of it was a wee bit dry for my liking) and got chips instead of mash potatoes (as they contain cream which I can’t have) and the chips looked very tired, like they...
