We haven’t been here for ages so decided that it was time for a revisit. The staff could not have been more helpful. We both chose fish based curries. The food was delicious. It was well cooked, well served and there are unusual options on the menu for Asian food. My friend is Asian, so is very fussy! Excellent quality and wonderful service.

Visited rajnagar for first time tonight and can't wait to go back. Do not understand why the staff get so many bad reviews as I thought they were really friendly knowledgeable and amusing. Food was probably the best Indian food we have had for years. We had chicken madras and chicken jalfrezi and both were spot on. The atmosphere was calm and friendly so see you again soon.

Arrived at 7:30pm and had to wait well over an hour for our starters….we only received these as we asked for them…and was informed by the waiter that as it was a Saturday night they were busy with take out orders…then he looked at us as if to say what do you expect. …not at all interested…. We are now 2 hours in and still waiting for a main course….awful customer service and will definitely not be returning : Voir le carte

I booked for 12 people for a 60th birthday celebration went in and paid £20 deposit. On arriving, we were told there was no booking, as I had not been in to pay the deposit I have a receipt for it! The restaurant was empty but they were so rude did not want our custom. It was for my brother in law’s 60th and my sister was in tears. They finally found the booking deposit but offered no explanation threw the £20 cash at my sister. Very upset disappointed after being highly recommended.

We visited this spacious restaurant with a group of 20 after attending a show at NEC Birmingham. Recommended by our hotel, we were impressed by the excellent food, top-notch service, and pleasant atmosphere. Despite being busy for a Monday night, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It is advisable to book in advance for a prime table. The restaurant has received multiple awards, which is evident in the quality of their dishes. We plan to visit again next year when we return to Birmingham. Bonus tip: It's only a 10-minute drive from NEC and has a convenient parking lot in front.

APPALLING attitude from staff! On arriving with a group booking for a special occasion the presumed “manager” was so rude claiming we had no booking. After finally finding the booking and the PAID deposit did not apologise nor offer us a table or accepting he had made a mistake. He THREW the money at a family member and when challenged by another family member claimed he “dropped the money on the floor” disgusting behaviour. Terrible customer service, rude upon arrival no correction made for HIS mistake and a lost a huge booking. The restaurant was empty so I think it speaks volumes. We ate here at the weekend on Saturday night and to be honest it was absolutely awful service and all the staff were so rude. We had a table booked for 7.30pm but didn't order any drinks till an hour... We had to ask someone if we could order our drinks now after sitting there for an hour and being ignored. Then we managed to order our mains which took hours to arrive by this time it was around 10pm, and most of our table wasn't hungry by this time as we had waited so long. It was shocking service and the waiters was very rude and sarcastic to us. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an elderly man who seemed a bit unsure. Instead of a proper greeting, he simply asked for our name and then led us to our table. The front of house manager then offered us papadams in broken English, which were brought to us quickly. We were given the drinks menu first, followed by the mains menu. The manager advised us not to rush and helped my partner make a choice. I ordered a Chicken Korma, which turned out to be darker and spicier than expected. It was only when we received the bill that I realized it was not what I had anticipated. Dessert came next, with the Vanilla Dream ice cream tasting like regular vanilla ice cream. We dined in a few weeks back and had a really poor experience but thought we’d give it the benefit of the doubt and order a takeaway from there on another occasion. Unfortunately, it was terrible, yet again. The customer service is shocking, possibly the rudest staff members I’ve ever encountered. Curry was freezing cold and tasted very bland, the same as when we dined in. Most of the people in our party when we ate in physically couldn’t eat the curry it was that bad. Just didn’t taste nice at all. We complained in the restaurant about the fact we wasn’t happy with the food and the rude staff member just shrugged his shoulders. Not even a simple “I’m sorry”.
