Fantastic food. Really good flavours. Good service and reasonable prices. It is down a bit of a backstreet but that didn’t matter because it was such a good curry. I’m looking forward to going back soon!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. I had never been before but went with my family. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it and will definitely go back when I have the chance to visit Newcastle again.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. I tried the Lamb Shatkora for the first time and found it to be very flavorful and well-balanced. My wife had the Bengal seafood curry and also thought it was absolutely superb. Although we don't live in Newcastle, if we did, we would definitely frequent this restaurant regularly.

This Indian restaurant is excellent and located in a great spot. The food is authentic and truly delicious. We tried four different curries, each with its own distinctive flavor and spice level, not just a generic base sauce. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing missing is a non-alcoholic beer option on the menu for the designated driver. Overall, a perfect dining experience.

4 of us were there to dine. After waiting for 30 mins, the big boss manager came to take order. One of us was not hungry and so we were going to have 3 main meals and 3 whiskey's for my friends . Listening to the food order, the manager refused to serve us. He said we need to order 4 full meals becoz we are 4 people. We booked in My Deli (10 mins walk), ordered same food and they served with all affection. Clearly, Raj Tandoori team needs to focus more on service and respect what the customer wants to eat.
