"This was simply one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had with my partner. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, with several large groups having a fantastic time. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and efficient, which complemented what seemed to be a well-organized kitchen led by a talented chef who served up imaginative and delicious dishes right away. I enjoyed the smoked salmon parcel with crab meat, followed by a bone marrow jam with creamy mashed potatoes and Madeira sauce. For dessert, we shared a generous Baileys crème brûlée paired with ice cream. Everything was wonderful and a true delight to eat. We only wish we could stay in Plymouth long enough to dine here again, but we will definitely be back!"

The food is excellent—definitely the best restaurant in Plymouth! The belly pork (my personal favorite) has the most amazing crackling you’ll ever taste, and the meat just falls apart. The steak chili and rice are also incredible. If we were to take Barnstaple out of the equation, Quay 33 would be our top choice! The staff is great, and the food is fantastic!

We recently celebrated our jubilee at this restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The filet steak was cooked to perfection and practically melted in my mouth. The cheesecake was exquisite as well. I can't recommend this place enough! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive. Thank you for making our evening so special! We will definitely be back.

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
