we didn't book a table but the staff were very accommodating . the outside area is pleasant and rustic but the food is excellent I wonderful country eatery.

We experienced lovely tasty food and friendly staff at the cafe when we visited on bank holiday Monday. It was a really pleasant visit and one which will be repeated.

Used to be a regular visitor here and loved the place. Not been for a while but went again today such a shame no wonder the place was empty the customer service is very poor it looks like people are voting with their feet.

Very disappointed. Despite asking if we should pre order, and being assured not necessary there was insufficient pie of choice for our party. The food was luke warm and unappealing. If they do another pie night make sure to pre order

Again. not disappointed but not as busy as last time. You would of course expect this as it was not a Bank Holiday Weekend. Food Still good and another pleasant lunch. We must try it in the evening before the weather starts to deteriorate.

Visited the cafe and cider press some time ago, keen to return today since we had enjoyed the food very much on our first visit.Good coffee and food was excellent, freshly cooked and nicely presented. Varied and interesting menu unfortunately we didn’t have room for a cake, maybe next time.

Went for lunch on Saturday with a vegan and another person who is gluten free. All dietary needs well catered for as they have gluten free bread and a couple of vegan options. Friendly service, great wines and cider and the food was delicious. Even had vegan cupcakes (amazing apparently) and gf choices for dessert. Great value for money. Highly recommend it.

This is the second time we have been to the cider press since lockdown. What a little gem it is. The owner and staff are very friendly. Plenty of places to sit with social distancing in mind. Hand sanitizer before you enter. We got there early as it was opening, ordered a sausage and bacon sandwich with a coffee. It was lovely, well worth the visit. I would recommend this place to everybody.

It’s been a while since we visited the cider press so we went today . Having heard mixed reviews since it changed hands I was determined to make up my own mind. Well here goes .... the customer service was really lacking !! We were ignored by two of the staff for the first 20 minutes who came and went managing to completely avoid our eye !!!! Eventually another waiter arrived to take our order and normality resumed we were then delivered our drinks and food in reasonable time . We both ordered the Coddy’s lamb burgers which were very nice .Please listen to this and improve your customer service because I actually like this place I notice you now hand out loyalty cards the previous owners did...
