"È solo questione di tempo... Anche io sono vittima della magia di Claudio che con la sua cucina ti incanta. La settimana scorsa ero di passaggio a Montemarano e mi sono fermato a pranzo: cavatelli con guanciale, pomodorini e ricotta salata. Peccato che non sono bastati a placare la mia fame. E allora Claudio ha preparato subito un buon hamburger con il tartufo accompagnato da patate e peperoni. Il gran finale è stato riservato alla millefoglie di crema e... Mi sono perso! "Trattoria situata nel centro del caratteristico borgo di Nusco. Locale non particolarmente grande, sviluppato in lungo ed arredato in stile piuttosto retrò, con prevalenza di colori scuri. Propone cucina tipica locale, con scelta piuttosto limitata sia di primi che di secondi. Antipasto composto da tagliere di salumi e formaggi ed un paio di tegamini. Buoni i salumi, abbastanza discutibili i tegamini, soprattutto quello composto da patate, mozzarella e funghi, abbastanza insapore e piuttosto acquoso. Primi a base di pasta fresca, tra cui dei ravioli al tartufo, ben conditi e con abbondante tartufo, ma con ripieno di ricotta non particolarmente saporito. Secondi a base di carne (possibile scelta tra misto carne e vitello). In definitiva un posto senza infamia e senza lode....io sono a favore dei ristoranti che propongono una scelta limitata di piatti ma, in questo caso, l'offerta (soprattutto di secondi) era veramente troppo scarna. Qualità delle materie prime media e conto proporzionato a ciò che si mangia."

"The place is beautiful, a really beautiful location. Food: 50:50 We were four two of us had good food (parmigiana, pollo, veal) two of us were unhappy. Pasta with broccoli sauce was not a good idea at all, but above all the lamb was a complete disappointment. Only bones and fat, tiny pieces of meat, **** on the bone. Cook would never have used it. When one member of our family (who previously visited three Italian restaurants) put his plate aside, a waitress came and tried to convince him that there were meat. This is not a way and was untrue, because my lamb was only bone, also (with a cold broccoli sauce inedible and usually I love broccoli). The other waiter was very friendly, bread and wine were good. But we don't come back there's enough excellent food around, and for a cheaper price."

"I knew of this Agriturismo sometime ago and have waited nearly a year for it to open for one reason they were going to offer something special, homely and hand made and they have done just what they promised. The restaurant is charming and inviting and the family run business is done wo with a passion for the genuine produce that they bring to the table with top class service. My husband, and my two children, who are also adults decided to celebrate my 31st wedding anniversary here and we loved it!! The chef, a lady of basically runs the kitchen and the small holding delivered an antipasto made up of the following Mozzerella, riccota baked with truffle oil, local matured cheese baked with truffle a harder consistency to the ricotta this cheese is called Cacciocavallo and is a local delicacy. Goats cheese served with wild bee honey, Roasted pork leg sliced with rocket salad, parma ham, salami and smoked bacon. Hot dishes included a delicious tripe cooked in spicey tomatoe sauce, harricot beans with sausage, aubergine parmesan, stuffed peppers, grilled vegetables, bruschette with tomatoes, fried green peppers, gratin of baked onion, sauteed green beans with bacon. This was just the anti pasto all was served at a great pace, we were not rushed and we enjoyed their locally produced wine which was a great house wine, RED. As far as pasta dishes were concerned there were two choice bought to the table, Tavioli made in house served with butter and truffle sauce filled with ricotta and dressed with parmesan cheese, The second plate of pasta was homemade spagetti servied in a rich tomatoe and porcini mushroom sauce. I could not eat the pasta so the chef made me a huge plate of suateed green beans with the porcini and tomatoe sauce it was so delicious that i had seconds. Amazing. We ate between us as our main course 3 Tagliate that is three grilled and sliced beef steaks served with porcini mushrooms and rocket. The meat was accompanied with mixed salad, potatoes baked with onions and then toour great surprise the chef servied us with hand made stuffed peppers stuffed with spicey tuna, sorrentine tomatoes with basil and a wild rocket sald with porcini mushrooms and truffles. We just could not even negotiate any form of desert but were offered liquors and coffee free of charge In four people we spent 120 euros, that is 30 euros per head!!!! I cannot believe just how amazing this place is and cannot wait to return, We have begged for 5 litres of wine next time to take home as they make it themselves and it is absolutely delightful. What can I say, Nicola, Soccorso and his wife the more than able chef, YOU GAVE ME A FANTASTIC culinary experience and i wish you luck for the future. "And what can I say, a unique experience. Such a nice place, beautifully organized and characteristic in the open countryside. We are talking about a real mill. There are places inside but also outside all in full nature and the presence of the nearby river with clear waters is truly relaxing, invigorating, unique. There is also a room created from an external structure which is also very beautiful. Not to mention the kindness of the staff present in the structure. All organized with great style and elegance, a very organized kitchen that prepares exceptional dishes with excellent raw materials. The courses are also elegant, in fact we are talking about dishes presented in an excellent manner as well as tasty. And what can I say, I'll be back it is certainly with great pleasure.
