Pub On The Pond - Carte

Have eaten here several times with the family and each time is just as good, if not better than the one before. Prices are very reasonable and the food really tasty and filling. The staff are a friendly bunch and accomodating to make your visits pleasant and enjoyable.

We visited pub on the pond today. The service from the staff was impeccable especially Geraint! They could not do more to help. We had a really good meal! I was really impressed by pub on the pond at my last visit. I took my nieces to the park and we called a lunch. when I am coeliac, I wanted to make sure what I could eat from her menu, I talked to the staff and they asked chef julia to talk to me. I found her really helpful and funny! we all had such a nice time. 10/10 would recommend!

Was recommended this pub by a friend, and it did not disappoint! The girl on the bar was so friendly and patient with us as we were unsure of what to order first (there was so much variety)!!! She took our order and even insisted on bring our order to the table! The staff were amazing and the whole pub gives off such a positive vibe! We will definitely be returning!

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a young lady named Carry. She went above and beyond to accommodate me and my three children, as well as my nephew. Carry ensured that all the kids were engaged with colorful books while we waited for our food, which was a lovely touch. This is a spectacular place to enjoy a meal with family. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it feel like a wonderful place to raise children in a healthy and loving environment. The food is a solid 6 out of 10, but the real draw here is the company. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, contributing to the overall positive experience. There’s really nothing negative about this place. It’s beautiful in the summer and even more charming in the winter. However, they could improve by cleaning the restrooms more frequently.

We ordered fish and chips, and I had the steak pie and ale. The fish batter was perfect, and the chips were cooked beautifully. The mushy peas were delightful, and the tartar sauce was exquisitely herby. The wedge of lemon was fantastic, providing just the right amount of juice. My steak and ale pie was simply wonderful; the crust was perfectly baked and the portion size was generous. The chips were lovely, and there was plenty of gravy to go with them. I truly enjoyed my meal. Considering the offer, it was great value, and the quality of the food was excellent.

Twice in the last 2 weeks, I have taken a large group to the POTP. It was very easy to make the reservations. For the first one, I brought a list of what people had chosen for lunch and to drink. The drinks were all provided within 10 minutes and the food came out between 15 and 20 minutes after ordering. The second time, I emailed ahead. The food was ready at the time I requested. The drinks were already on the system and my guests just had to go to the bar to get them. It was so smooth! In addition, of course, the food and the drinks were outstanding. Finally, the tab was extremely cheap thanks to the generous specials. I would recommend POTP for any time you need to take a group for food... Voir le carte
