"I'm sad to update my review, but this place has seriously gone downhill. we ate here recently and couldn't believe how bad it's declined. We ordered a pizza and lasagne, the pizza was flavourless bland and soggy. The lasagne portion was so much smaller than previous visits and again so bland with no flavour it may aswell have been a frozen mass produced microwave meal. Staff were still as attentive as they have always been, but the food has really taken a dive . With all the complaints I heard just on our short visit, I know it wasn't just us unhappy with our food."

The food and service were excellent, but I deducted one star because the music was terrible.

10 minutes waiting time from ordering my food till cold dish delivered to my table. Massive disappointment. I presume it was reheated and made earlier. NO IMPROVEMENT SINCE I VISIT THIS PLACE 5 YEARS AGO.

I know it's a Prezzo but this was a great experience the service was spot on and the food amazing. If I had to have a little moan it would be the price of the wine. We were served a Gavi which is the same that I buy in a national supermarket but instead of £10.95 it was £35 a bottle. I understand they have overheads but 200% mark up is a bit steep.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The spaghetti bolognese was delicious, and all of our meals were served hot and tasty. Gary provided exceptional service. We dined here twice during our visit and highly recommend Prezzo. The cocktails are a bit pricey, unless you opt for the bottomless brunch, which offers excellent value. Overall, one of the best dining experiences I've had. Voir le carte

The recently renovated restaurant is located in a charming old building with high ceilings and beautiful decor. The extensive menu and comfortable seating options provide a variety of dining choices. The staff is friendly, courteous, and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious pizza as a light dinner before heading to the theatre, making it a positive experience. The use of vouchers (from Tesco) also made it a great value evening. The toilets were clean and in working order.

Came for a valentines dinner, really lovely atmosphere and food. However the service really let it down, our table was not ready when we showed up even after we had booked a month in advance. Whilst eating we received no check backs as well as not seeing if we needed any more drinks. When it came to the end of our meal we decided against dessert as we had sat there for 15 minutes with our plates stacked it wasn’t until we got the attention of a staff member to come over where we asked for the bill.

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
