"we were woven with the food and service at the potted pig! the most important thing from the pork pliers, which was both scrumbling and loud. what we thought could explode from the vertigo sizzling was intact by the pop rocks up on the spinat. it was just a bit fun, but also zing. the Walisian rarbit and potted pig first were delicious while we enjoyed the smoked chickenerritotto. the service was attentive, without disturbing our young, blonde, female server (forgot their name so sorry.) please see the attached pictures of our net. the presentation was impressive."

Arched, exposed brick ceilings and walls, a former bank vault turned restaurant Contemporary touches make the space warm and inviting.

Wonderful service and inspiring dishes. If I must say something bad then I would say I didn't quite expect to have such a large potion of the lamb linguine.

Outstanding all round experience…the food was excellent (onion soup, crispy chicken and rabbit parpedelle), great wine list cocktails as well as fantastic service. Voir le carte

First meal we had out since lockdown and it was absolutely worth it. Delicious food was so good we had three courses and brilliant architecture. Good choice of beers. The staff were welcoming and really friendly.

large selection menu so not only for gay friends! the lunch here before a gig and the staff were very slow to our time, although they were very busy. excellent service and would be back but on the expensive side so likely to be reserved for special occasions.

Quite simply one of the best places to eat not just in Cardiff but in Wales. The food is excellent, the staff freindly and competant, the wine list is great, and ine of my tests is to see what the house wine is like, pretty damn good. If you have rhe opportunity and you are in Cardiff go there. Oh and they also have a great gin list too Voir le carte

we had only a fantastic dinner here 11/06/22. friendly staff, the 2 youngs who served us at the entrance and beautiful waitress. a rare occurrence for us to make it without the children in tow, and we are so glad that we came here. that was brilliant. potted pig starter and duck breast duck atn rosti both exceptionally delicious. very pleasant cocktails and creammant also! thank you. you are so much for a beautiful experience. hopefully be back soon!

If you want to avoid the typical touristic restaurants in the center of cardiff, this could be the place for them. the outer looks a little grimt and has not much signage, but the reviews are enough to reach us, and we have not regretted our decision. cat was a great server and had wonderful suggestions – I enjoyed myself especially. this is one of these restaurants, where I am just a week in the city, I will probably go back more than once. it gets my highest recommendation.

"It was the most bizarre experience dining here. First when we arrived in the restaurant, our group set up was that there was someone on each end who was sitting facing an empty chair on the other side of the table. Upon enquiry we understood it was a covid measure, however never had any other restaurants requesting such seating arrangements in the past 20 months. We ordered two split pots, a non-spicy broth for one side of the pot and a spicy broth for the other side. The staff came to confirm that we wanted spicy/non-spicy in each pot. Yes, we said. To our shock when the pots came, one pot was spicy/spicy on both side, and the other was non-spicy/non-spicy on both sides. This was after the staff had came by to confirm that we wanted a spicy/non-spicy set-up, and in the usual situation a person wanting a spicy broth would not have asked for a split pot. We raised this to the staff and were clearly unhappy about it, though did not insist on having the broths changed around. What happened next made it the most awkward and uncomfortable dining experience ever. From where we were sitting, we could hear the owner reprimanding the staff for the error, throughout our meal. We understand mistakes occur and if the owner was unhappy about the mistake and genuinely wanted to apologise, taking the initiative to change the broth to the right setup, or a complimentary drink or dish would have gone a long way. But no, he chose to reprimand the staff within our hearing for the whole dinner (which didn't help the situation one bit and made the experience worse! . We felt sorry for the staff. Even with the hospitality shortage, that was a completely wrong way to help the staff improve, nor help retain them in the long run. I don't remember anything about the food, although photos did show a good range to choose from. At the end of the meal we each received a box of hello panda, which might have helped, if not for the fact they were expired. All in all, would not recommend."
