Normally I would avoid a hotel restaurant like the plague too many years in sales, trekking up and down the motorway in my Ford Sierra, staying in anonymous forgettable chains. But it's a nice hotel, rather better than the rep places I used to stay in. Most of the residents are families on holiday rather than reps, though there are a few obviously here on business. Every night is a special menu night. I don't think they do an à la carte menu, though there may well be one available on request. First night was Ribs night.
