my friends and I lacked Asian food (I lacked rice in general) and we came across this place before we went to the pub we had planned.

just to miss, small hole in the wall restaurant. sitting up and down, although it was very busy when we went. only, so they keep this in mind.

I have eaten here a few times, each time having a different tofu dish. All have been delicious. Very inexpensive, always come out thoroughly stuffed for under £10.

Bargain Japanese food, the Donburi bowls are large and very filling for a very good price and there are some good vegan sides like the spring rolls, miso and Yubamaki: vegetable stuffed tofu rolls.

really nice affordable place for a simple Japanese meal. they only take cash that was slightly uncomfortable, and my only output with the nanban don was that the sauce completely drowned everything and became quite overpowered. the oyakodon was a bit dry in comparison.

always the most incredible meals when I go here! very affordable Japanese style dishes and large portions, also they can bring their own drinks that is great. they have as many possibilities as huh, tofu, pork and bark. the staff is also friendly, it is only cash! can not wait to go back

You need to try Yubamaki, this is the best food in Brighton, I think it's deep fried tofu veg in tofu skin it's so damn tasty. I usually have some sort of Tofu Rice dish as well for the money it's cheap, quick tasty very affordable fast food, so not really a restaurant, but great for grabbing something in a rush.
