My husband had the chicken and ham pie which was also delish! The atmosphere is always great and it’s definitely our fave pub in across the Heaton’s. Can’t wait for cosy winter afternoons in here!"

Roast? Great! Had the beef and pork belly within our group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Very reasonably priced and good service.

The Sunday dinner was absolutely beautiful. The cauliflower cheese was to die for. Faye was absolutely incredible! Her service was perfect and she made us feel right at home.

Great friendly pub, gorgeous food, great atmosphere and lovely surroundings. Staff were super friendly and even made a fuss of the dog with water and treats. What’s not to like. Will definitely be back!

Had a lovely beef dinner,food was presented well and tasted delicious.Dani our waitresses was wonderful and very pleasant.Jake came out to see us and checked everything was OK. Definitely would eat here again.Highly recommended

visited the pub to try the plant based burger…… well let me tell you it was the best veggie burger i have tasted. nice thick burger, relish pickles and an amazing pot of dipping sauce. chips were lightly salted and crispy i will be back as it’s the best plant based burger in town. serving drink’s was Jake… very friendly and helpful when choosing an ale. see you again soon x
