"These guys here are absolutely fantastic! We've always received a warm and friendly welcome, I don't have images from the last trip but we've been here around 7 times over the last few years and it's a must for when we visit Keswick! Located less than a minutes walk from Keswick's famous Moot Hall, it's situated right next to a beautiful stream which with the weather being nice is a fantastic place to sit for a coffee, bike stop, breakfast or lunch! The cafe itself is really cute with a great varied menu with something for everyone! With breakfast, burgers, ramen, cakes and desserts etc It's all Vegan and made onsite fresh by the staff who you can tell put a lot of care and attention into the food and the business itself. They have a few things you can buy, like chocolates and local produce and some fine art on the wall from local lake District artists. Definitely recommend!"

The Watermelon Mint Salad, and the Apple juice were SO TASTY. Amazing vegan food, and lovely atmosphere.

The best place in Keswick for vegan only food. From Buddha bowls to a ‘full English’ … you should try the ‘black pudding’! Friendly service and good value.

I enjoyed the Sunday Roast, and it was fantastic! I hadn't had a roast in about eight years since I went vegan, and this one was delicious. The rosemary and garlic "meat" was especially impressive. Voir le carte

Amazing vegan food, great for a hearty lunch. Came on Sunday, so could only get the Sunday roast menu, but there were 5 different protein options and the size large was perfect. Also delicious desserts, particularly the ginger cake. Nice outdoor seating.

I had the most incredible vegan food ever! The tofu was absolutely phenomenal. In fact, I went back twice in one day, returning in the afternoon for coffee and cake. I can't recommend this place highly enough—1000% would suggest it! The staff were also very friendly and lovely.

Vegan food at its best. Freshly cooked and tasty. The staff are kind and helpful. We tried a couple of other restaurants in Keswick but nothing is a patch on this place. Would recommend earth bowl and burgers. They also do very nice cake and the hot chocolate with all the trimming is amazing!!! Voir le carte

The vegan roast dinner was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were fantastic as well! We enjoyed hot chocolate topped with cream and marshmallows, along with a matcha latte, both of which were perfect. The interior is charming, and the service was excellent. If you're a vegan visiting the lakes, this place is definitely a must-try!

After struggling to find hardly any vegan friendly places to eat at in the Lake District, I was really excited to find this place and to try their food. It did not disappoint. The food was so good, so much so I got a little too greedy and ordered far too much that I had to take some away with me. The owners and staff were super friendly and welcoming, and overall this was well worth a visit. Highly recommend a visit here. Also, the milkshakes were amazing, cotton candy milkshake with cream and marshmallows on top. I meant to take a photo but totally inhaled them as soon as they came to the table.

"I would have loved to rate our dining experience at the Ivy House a lot higher but we were to leave somewhat disappointed. The dining area was pleasant and intimate with well appointed decor, the waitress and waiters pleasant, polite and attentive. The varied menu looked very appetising with most tastes catered for. We chose two courses from the main menu, the Duck Breast and a Fish Dish for myself. Contrary to other reviews we were to wait over 40 minutes before the food was presented to us. We were not advised of any delays or even the expected length of time we might have to wait. The food on arrival was well presented and flavoursome although I did not consider two small stem broccoli spears a serving. I also asked the waiter why there was no Samphire to accompany my dish as stated on the menu, this comment was also reinforced by a fellow diner who ate the same dish just prior to me. The waiter advised me that he would ask the chef. I did not receive a response to my question during further table service and subsequently asked the waiter again. On returning the waiter advised me the chef said “he will try to remember to put it on next time”, a somewhat disrespectful comment. The Cheese platter we were presented with was lacklustre and sparse, quince jelly and a small dish of chutney being the predominant feature. For ourselves we did not feel that our dining experience represented good value for money."
