"We ate here on the recommendation of our hotel. It is located in a little passageway lined by many eateries sloping gently down to the sea. We managed to get the only table not already reserved, which we thought was a good sign. All around us large family groups were obviously enjoying birthday or other celebrations. Service was friendly and attentive, and the ordinary local wines were superb. The food was not special but that may have had something to do with what we ordered. The ambience was so charming that it would have hardly mattered what we had eaten."

Lunched here on a rainy, chilly October Sunday. Depressing decor in the basement, surly slow service and indifferent food. Wouldn't recommend it, poor value for money

qui bisognerebbe assaggiare tutto, perché è tutto stra-buono! per noi antipasti (fritti misti, sublimi), pizze (notevoli, impasto perfetto) e dolci (da fornitore esterno ma scelto tra i top)...toccherà tornare per i piatti locali visti in menù e passare davanti agli occhi!

dal vomero da piazza amedeo tagliamo da bausan per visitare la zona della chiaia e ci siamo trovati, per caso, di fronte al ristorante pizzeria manfredi. abbiamo deposto pizze fritte come antipasti e un'ottima pizza. accogliente posto, soprattutto la camera sottostante, atmosfera familiare, prezzi medi, frequentati da persone locali quindi sinonimo di qualità autentica / rapporto prezzo. da consigliare!.

Very disappointing. This was recommended by a concierge and I always take that with green salt but also a nice lady on the street. The pizza came out in under five minutes grossly undercooked and completely soft and saturated in the center. The grilled Calamar also came out in under five minutes. If you know anything about calamari, it is a rather chewy food there. Take some slow cooking and grilling. Mediocre at best but very disappointing after two good recommendations
