"Our hotel recommended this restaurant on our arrival in Bologna. We had been in airports and on airplanes for 24 hours. We walked the very short distance, arriving at 9:45pm and the restaurant was very busy. But the server found a table for two quickly...and we were seated. My only Italian is I don't speak Italian but the server and I were able to work together, using my limited Italian and her better English, to put together a two-person meal that included pizza and a large salad (and a ceramic pitcher of house red). The salad was excellent, the pizza (the Domenico which the menu describes as a little bit of everything was very good, the wine hit the spot. We then tried dessert- the panna cotta and a pistachio-based something. Both excellent. Throughout, the wait staff was responsive and friendly. And it was busy right up until closing time. We have five more nights in Bologna and we will definitely return to try some of their Bolognese specialties."

really wonderful personal service of beautiful waitress. the street tables fill up quickly so it is worth getting there early evening the pizza was beautiful, the service excellent and the experience was unavoidable and relaxed, also with our almost 1 year old try to be friends. everyone around us. a great sound!

we were right before Christmas in bologna and stumbled in pizzeria jari because it was open. there were not many people in the restaurant, except friends who visited the family from America. they made us feel like a part of the family, and it was. a great experience. I was super disappointed that the tortellini in brodo had sold out the night before, but the server led me to a tortelloni court from cream, speck and radicchio. the combination of creamy/savory/bitter was great, and I really enjoyed the dish. my man had a pizza and the bite I had was excellent. I recommend to stop here for good eating and atmosphere!
